Here is the dress she wants me to wear.

Basically, all she wants is Lee to walk down the ailse with Julie and me to walk down the ailse with sammie. What I don't get is this, Lee can wear the Filipino national garment. All the groomsman and Ring Bearers are wearing tuxes. So why do I have to dress like all the other bridesmaids?

Morning....very rainy here, but I shall not let it damper the fact that it is FRIDAY and it is my grandson's 3rd birthday Does not seem possible AT all that he is 3 already...although next to this cactus he is still a little dude...

Momma, perhaps you should confront her and ask just what the deal is, and that you don't really need to wear that dress. Personally, I think the kids would be fine walking alone, most kids do well in weddings so why are you required to walk with them...a little coaching and most little girls LUV playing dress up and walking down the aisle. Keep us posted

I slept horrible last night, was then sleeping like a log when the alarm went off so I'll be ready to cave around lunch time...maybe I can find a spot to hide and take a nap.....chances of that happening could be the 10th of never

So, off I go......where has Deena been hiding? She isn't off on another journey to WDW is she?

ocm - i'd wear that dress, not too sure about any of those colors though. What is the phillipine national dress. I keep thinking of those big sleeves imelda marcos (got shoes? tee-hee) always wore.

pam & all - what's on your agenda this weekend?

I'm hauling everyone to post office to apply for passports. Called yesterday to confirm operating hours & the postmaster cautioned me that they're now taking a minimum of 12 weeks. Evidently, a big rush. You also have to have both parents appear for a minor (I guess to avoid custody issues) or have a notarized statement.

Then, stations of the cross tonight, ds serves - i'll be sneezing for days from the incense.

The illustrious River Rats head over to Johnstown on Saturday evening. Not sure if we're taking the drive or not (can't get there from here trip - all crappy 2 lane back roads for 2 hours).

I could wear the VS dress, but I LOVE this dress. This is the one I want to wear..I think I have shown it to you all before.

I'm going to talk to Lee again tonight. I'm thinking about asking her if Julie and Sam can walk down the aisle together with Nico in the middle. That way if one of the girls gets nervous, it's no big deal. Also, I can sit and enjoy myself and not have to worry about it.

I have no problem being in weddings usually. But I am already going to stand out since I am the only blonde one and the only tall one. Infact, if my SIL in MN isn't coming (they aren't sure) I will probably be the only white chick.

mic--a little bit of cactus trivia....did you know that they are 70 years old before the start growing their arms???? That one that your dgs is standing by is OLD!!!!

ks--don't know exactly what my plans are for the weekend yet....have to work tomorrow morning then thinking about heading to Lincoln and picking out some new carpet for my family room.....AGAIN!! I get it replaced for free since it keeps clogging up my vacuum cleaner...it looks terrible. then sunday i have to teach sunday school and work again.

mac--be really lound today maybe your ds will wake up before noon!

tony--it is friday and i didn't wake up this morning when you told me too! I actually just got up at 7:25....the kids don't have school so I got to sleep in!

bob--is this busy stuff going to start being an everyday thing???

She said I had a choice in the dress color. Pink, Coral, or Apple Green. Green is a horrible color on me..so I'm not choosing that one.

For the next three weeks, at least. Next week, I'll be pretty swamped and then the two weeks after that, I won't even be at my desk. I'll be in a big conference room with our whole team doing contract negotiations with 12 different ocean carriers. So I'll be non-existent, for the most part, after next Thursday (I'm on vacation Friday -- we're going to Great Wolf Lodge for the weekend )
