It bottomed out @ 57 degrees today here

pam - don't tug on the hair; you don't want a weave. They say that's why Brittany Spears shaved her head; it went south...another source sez she's crazy. You learn alot when you read The Star .

off to dredge up yet another meatless meal for lent; think grilled cheese & tomato soup with do just fine; alternate menu - Spaghettios.

Nico won his soccer game and got 7 goals. WHOO HOOO!!! We all went out to lunch after which was wicked fun.

It's gorgeous today..im going to try to enjoy it while it lasts. Hope you all have a wonderful day.

had to get up early to go to chicago union station to get son. his spring break started yesterday.

what a saga it was.....

got there early like an hour to kill......no traffic and made it there in 40 minutes.

then, his train came in late. it was outside the station waiting for a brakeman to switch the track. took 50 minutes for that.
he finallly got off close to 11:30.......due in 10:30

then bad accident on the highway. sat forever for the people to be removed then the vehicles and then the sand to be spread. some semi lost his gas tank, two cars swerved together when it dropped and burst, semi then went into the wall.

sat close to 2 hours to go less than one mile.

home at 3:20.....there went my day.
and a day of sunshine .......no rain........

hey just wanted you all to know that I just went and read my emails and I had one from mic...she said that she is having a good time and she misses all of us. She will be home Monday.

I got clocked; only problem is my 'slurge' clock I bought a 2 years ago is now losing time hope it's just def. new battery we put in (a 'small-world/disney like seiko that's sold in Jap. pav in Epcot). Everyone else in the family hates it because it play music on the hour; think they pearl-harbored it.

Found out my fav. ride @ MK will be rehab'd when we visit in June Haunted Mansion, DH felt bad for me -so he suggested we arrive a day early...luv the way that man thinks.

Rats won in last 30 seconds of game. My DS shaved his head ; I have no idea why - he has beautiful, thick curly hair. kids

mac - eek, sorry you hit a traffic snarl; how long is DS home? Hope we can search by our name again!

pam - any good deals shopping? How's the new car working out?

when son is home from college, i fix full meals for him of whatever he wants.
today he wants baked ham w/ glaze, gr. bean casserole, fried sweet potatoes, cornbread, etc.......

guess this is a bad time for my diet....

well, he did shave his head didn't he?? i would have said yul brenner but doubt many here would know what that meant......

Jury's out on his noggin in my corner; some guys can pull it off; others . Must say yul brenner was hot, hot, hot!
