my computer is a compaq. It has given me a few problems but over all it has been okay. Now the service at compusa on the other hand stinks to high heaven.

I don't whistle while i work....heck...i can't whistle...aubrey can whistle better than I can.

was suppose to work till 11pm tonight but i have friends in high places there and got off at 10 instead.

I am hoping noah's game does not get rescheduled tomorrow.

Think i am headed off to bed soon! Have a good weekend everyone!

Monring Everyone

This will be an interesting day. Nico woke up and still has a fever. Today is his first soccer game. Last time DH had him go and play anyway, so we will see what happens today.

I am looking to rent points and I am having a tough time. It's very frustrating, but, I know if I sit tight, something will turn up.

He played. Actaully, it was good that Nico showed becuase another little girl was sick and they only had 5 kids on their team. Nico played, but you could tell he was drugged. LOL!

The party is at 6 this evening...and last night my MIL called and I lied to her when she was saying "I thought T was going to try and come for Glady's party"...and he was sitting right in front of me...then today, dh went down to see his folks, and MIL said she tried to call T last night just to say hi and see how they all were doing...thankfully my DIL must have been out, cause MIL said no one answered....oh what tangled webs we weave when we try and deceive!! I'll be glad to let the cat out of the bag, it's been hard keeping it quiet

Nope, not packed, don't even have a suitcase out of the closet I'm getting ready to do laundry...and tomorrow after taking my son back to the airport, I'll get busy. We will take a minimum of stuff anyway, only gone for a week and we can wash clothes there...so won't be dragging everything we own...although for some reason it always seems like we do. More the toiletries that take up room, and of course, dh's shoes......gosh, those things always get in the way, he needs to learn to go barefoot...

Noah played and won!!!! score...31-30!!!!!! Was an exciting game. they play in the championship game tomorrow

mac - i was already holed up in my sanctum last night reading a cruise book, hiding from the world lol. sorry, i missed you. Ran all am on errands, ds needed new sneakers, grew out the pair i bought before basketball season started; got a pr for dh too (bogo 1/2 off @ sears; how could i resist?) i got a pair of socks .

pam - congrats to the weiners~! Wow, 10 pm is past my bedtime . Took one look @ the Sat. crown @ WM today & just went to Sams next door; I hate dealing with all those people.

Off to a River Rats game tomorrow afternoon (really hope they get a win; will put in a good word @ mass), ds serving & then a social; I shall be a busy bee.

mic - didn't know you could juggle ; good save!

rented Departed for tonight; anymore my fav. thing to do is grab a bowl of popcorn; fire up the heated mattress pad & chill.

Let me know how you liked Departed, I know mac liked it...will get ds to order it from Netflix when we get back...would be nice to watch a movie while away, but like I said, it is going back to the dark ages when we visit my Mom, no computer, no vcr/dvd, only basic cable in the living room (she has movies and stuff on the TV in her room), so we will be roughing it for the week.....LOL

Not much shaking here, just waiting to through our party duds on and head out....

Glad the bb game came out in your favor Pam must have been a tight one

someone started a thread on mac being mia.
it was closed with one post as it is against dis rules to personalize a thread.

looks like the rules are now being enforced.

i sent a pm off to the mod to ask it not go against the person. mod said it was ok but noted to be a warning for others.

gee, why pick on the UO threads......there is only 3 forums designated for them. go check out the cb threads.......now tell me how many are not personalized.........

just wanted to tell you all that i bought a new camera tonight so now i will have to bore you with pictures

probably should have bought the boys a new computer instead but decided to splurge on me since my camera is a pile o crad!!! Had a hard time getting it to focus when i zoomed anymore.

Oh, i saw departed too....it was a good movie...can't say i liked the ending but it was a good movie!

anyway, off to bed...see you all tomorrow.

Good morning...

geez mac, that is kinda sad about looking for you and getting zapped lesson learned I guess

Party was a huge success, so good to have so much family all together....besides my son being a surprise guest, my dh's cousin, who lives in Georgia surprised everyone by showing up. His reason for attending was two-fold, he wanted to come for the surprise, and he was born with a cancer in his leg, and all his life has had operations etc. to live with it, and he has found out that it has recurred and there isn't much left to do, so he wanted to come see everyone as he said "for perhaps one last time"...he is only 52. It was wonderful to see him, but bittersweet for me anyway, very sad. The whole party was wonderful and the guest of honor was totally surprised.

Ok, got lots to do today, plus another trip to the airport

Pam, what kind of camera did you splurge on? It's always nice to treat yourself and you will get so much use out of it.

Good morning all. Hope your weekend is going well.

Mac, I know what it's like to get zapped.

Went on a Philly cheesesteak run yesterday and found a place that tops my previous favorite. The place is Tony Luke's. I got a cheesesteak with red sauce, fried onions and sharp provolone. It was fantastic. Since I live only an hour from Philly, I have been to many cheesesteak places so I know what I'm talkin' about.

It is grocery shopping for me today then just lounging around. I might be back on later. Have a great one!
