Good Monday morning...

mac, you are a true fan, I gave up around 10:30, show moves too slow for me. I'll watch the E stuff and YouTube to see the highlights.

Off to work I go, snow didn't stop that will check in later

i can't believe i sat up and watched two hours of E after the oscars were over.
and then some other show.

so far i have drank 10 cups of coffee and still dragging.
decided i better not call into work today sick.
it is very icy out and since i only live a mile a couple of blocks from school, they might catch on............





i still am thrilled departed won the most oscars..............
but leo should have claimed one award for blood diamonds......he was great

spent the day being the gofer for DS & DH; finishing up his mousetrap car for skool - they design/build from scratch; compete in series of races; goal is to protect the occupant, raw egg...sound like a fun class to me; believe it's engineering tech?

rest of day chipping ice

oldest DS has heard rumblings he may be shown the door; evidently 3 losses & you're good as gone in arena football; he's putting on a good face (good resume builder).

i am very impressed that any man knows what brand of vacuum cleaner they have I don't; think i have a kenmore -just know we go to sears & pick one out every few years.

tvt - hang in there 'bro; our turn to be responsible . myself, off to the podiatrist w/me mom this am. (now, that is a creepy place).

what a weekend! went to fast for my liking!

ocm--diet is going good...slipped off of it this weekend but it's monday so it is back on it. I don't think the burger and fries i had at backyard burger was on the ole' diet...it was good though about the school year, I would love it if our kids would go year round and get the breaks...it would make everything alot easier. It would be hard for parents who work to get adjusted though. I do think kids tend to lose alot during the summer.

mic--sorry you had to get out in the yuck cold. I felt so sorry for the boys this morning when i was taking them to school...it has been so warm here last week and now it is in the 20's again

mac--i didn't watch any of the show...i usually never do. You hear so much stuff after that i find out who won what without having to watch it. Hope you are safe while driving that few blocks to school today.

tony--it is nice that your brothers are stepping up and helping your parents. I'm glad your dad is starting to feel better. Hope your mom recovers quick.

bob--how was your weekend? How was the fishfry? Have you seen your dw lately or is she still wicked busy?

ed--how does your new gadgets work? Are you in the busy office again this week?

ks--good luck at the foot doctor today...just don't look down and you will be fine. Hope that is just a rumor about your ds.

gant--did a good guy win the race? Hope you have a good week!

deena--how are your kids doing in baseball?

We got trent's traveling team schedule...his first game is like the 22nd of april and it looks like i am going to spend my birthday at tourneys again this year.

MMMM.....Back Yard burgers are sooooo good !!!

I'm really glad the brothers are stepping up too. Makes it easier to worry a little less. Will know more this afternoon after they see the doctor.

Pretty good weekend. The fish fry was good -- line out the door when we got there, but it moved pretty fast. Nicole was around all weekend -- she drove up to Detroit last night, though -- she'll be there through Tuesday night. We made a quick trip in to PA to see my grandma, who's doing well and looking really good. It's amazing how much more "with it" she is now, funny what not drinking a fifth of Scotch a week will do for ya.

Pam is backyard burgers any good? We have a coupon for them from the Entertainment book, but we have never been there before.

Mac make sure you get to bed early tonight. I went to bed at 9:30pm last night, but that is how Nyquil effects me.

I'm back baby!!! I went to the gym. Ok, it was rather pathetic becuase I spent 30 minutes on the eliptical. It used to be that my warm up level was 12..not it's a whooping 4. But..I'm back, which means you guys are going to have to listen to me reach my goals.

The first is to get back to a level 7 for a warm up. That may take me a month or so...

Tomorrow I will be on the treadmill.

Pam, glad diet is going for you, I ate junk over the weekend too, back in the saddle today, I've been eating little bits of junk and I need to STOP...

The sun is trying to come out, roads are clear, so it was not bad to deal with. Our neighbor has a snow blower and blew off our sidewalk, so that helped.

*Parents update*

They don't go to the Dr. until TOMORROW.....since Dad retired last year he forgets what day is when...Anyway...he says he feels some better, but he still sounds like he feels awful. I can only imagine what my Mom sounds and feels like. I'll be talking to my brothers this afternoon and get the latest.

Keep the good thoughts and prayers coming folks.....this is far from over I think...

Just as I get back to the gym..they ask me to work. I'm subbing Thursday and Friday this week in the 2 year old class. I guess I can look at it this way, the extra money off preschool will help pay for the gym membership.

KS, Leo is still a cutie...he has filled out in the face, and I think it makes him look more mature...still hot...Mark is a cutie too, although for some reason, I just always seem him in Boogy Nights and it cracks me up I liked him in rockstar, although it was a cornball movie, I liked him in it and I liked the story. Don't give up your computer time, you might never retrieve it

Off to watch some TV...slept lousey after 3:30 a.m. this morning, so I'm rather draggy this evening, plus it was a long day at work for some reason...and the witch was at her finest today.....we all can start out in a good mood and she can kill it in 30 seconds flat.....grrr
