Mac, you iz the lazee peep today....guess you missed the early morning wake up call........:goodvibes

Yep Momma, ds comes home Thursday afternoon and goes back Sunday...it will be fun, too short, but nice that he decided on his own to come back for the party, with no prompting from Mom...makes me know I did something right somewhere along the line

This is funny I thought....let me know how you do reading it....I CAN read it, now what does that say about ME?:scared1:

Nice to know Pam that we are 2 of the 55 out of 100 people....glad I rate high in some statistic....:lmao:

yup count me in too on reading it.

when you speed read, all you need to do is look at the first letter and last and one vowel in the word. and you will be able to read what is written even if it is jumbled.

we could make up our own language...........:rotfl:

mic, i know it will be a grand time at your place starting thursday.
so glad son is coming home for the big party.

who is taking off work on friday, other son or mr mic?

/
They go to the Dr. this afternoon Pam. I talked to my dad last night and he did sound better than he has the last few days. Mom is a different story, she was in pretty rough shape. I'll post once I hear about the dr. visit.

still waiting for the update

my eyes crossed after the first 2 lines:rotfl: ; i get the drift:thumbsup2

mic - will toga's be optional @ your party?:)
belutoga.jpg
Bluto's ready:lmao: ?

i see ed was showing off when he wrote weirdos..........think he was proving my point.

going to watch AI soon.

and wednesday i will be good and go to work.
it's to celebrate hump day and classes get out early

Evening...went for a pampering this evening, so not much time to visit here...had to watch AI and catch my soap...the guys were very good on AI tonight...I look for Sanjaya to get the hook...did not care for A.J. too much, but the others were all good.

Mr. Mic is staying home Friday. DS can't take off as it is his processing out day from his job.....he works for a contractor for the government, they lost the contract, ds was hired by new contractor, so he has to be there Friday to process out from old contractor and process in to new.....ok, that was like that reed tihs wriedo psot I psoted eraleir......LOL

Off to beddy bye for me.....sleep well my friends...

LOL KS, dear Aunt may have been to a toga party at some time in her 90 years...that is a LONG time ago:goodvibes She was quite social in her younger years, so she knows how to have a good time. She never married, has a hot toddy on ocassion and keeps busy, I attribute that to her having good health and longevity...especially the never being married part:laughing: no man to drive her batty.......J/K....I love my man

They went to the Dr. and they both have the full blown flu. Mom's blood pressure had gotten very low but has gone back up. Her blood ox levels were good and her other ailments were ok. This flu bug that they have is just a bad one. The Dr. said about the only thing they could do was the fluids and rest thing and let it run it course.

So......WAKE UP TESTERS!!!

Morning Everyone

I could read that misspelling as well, but then again, I would be in trouble if I couldn't. That is how I type:lmao:

I am off to get Nico to school, Julie to ballet and get all the errands done that I didn't do yesterday. Then, off to the gym. Wish me luck

Pam how did the Walmart thing workout?

Mic OHHH..that is sooo exciting about your son. WHOO HOO:cool1:

Mac I thought the guys did much better last night. I was really disappointed with Brandon. He is really much better than he sang last night.

Morning all!

tony--i'm glad that your parents are doing okay. the flu bug is a nasty thing...hope they get better from it soon!

ocm--sounds like you have a busy day! Hope you get everything done. This is my only day off this week from wal-mart....and the kids have church night so more running around for me.

I talked to him yesterday about my schedule and he said he would work with me and i had a conflicting day with noah's basketball and he told me not to worry about it. I then asked him about either taking a leave over the summer or quitting and he is going to talk to the store manager to see what one i had to do. He would like to see me take a leave but didn't know if i could given their policies. So we will see where it takes me.

mac--are you working today or sleeping in?

mic--tomorrow is the day...i bet this day will go so SSSSLLLLOOOOOWWWWW for you today.

bob--is your dw back today?

ks--any news on ds job yet...can he coach another game?

ed--when are all your concerts? do you have one coming up?

gant--:grouphug: we miss you!!

Good morning:banana:

tvt - did your parents get flu & pneumonia shot this year?

mic - congrats to son; confusing scenario - figures govt involved lol. Know it's an alcohol-based drink; what is a hot-toddy.

mac - teach them well:)

pam - hope WM accommodates your schedule

ocm - the gym :woohoo: ; i hate my treadmill.:rolleyes1

No news on DS; he lost one of his key players last week to European draft too. I'm @ the point where whatever happens - happens, can't sit & worry about it; all part of the nature of the beast.:confused3

soon off to dentist to see if 'failed' root canal can be saved w/cap, etc. 2nd time this crap has happened. Four diff. dentists/endontist/oral surgeon have told me it's because I have very long roots; the blades they use won't work well. If they go too far; infection tends to set in, yadda-yadda. Of course, it's my fault:rotfl: ; stupidly bizzare!

Got 1st flu shot last year (mom's dr. recommended so she wouldn't get sick from me:confused3 ); got sick as a dog; never again.

Oh Bob - help, can you give me a phone # to contact the IRS re a tax question? Called the one listed in local phone book & got "I don't know, we'll research it and send you a publication" today!

DH's union has supposedly ratified new contract, complete with signing bonus. Unfortunately, the govt wants 40% of it.;)

Q: Since we're in catch up mode on his 401K (as in extra contributions, etc are ok for tax defer due to age); is it possible to ear-mark/deposit the funds directly into the 401K to avoid the tax hit?

Any direction will be appreciated. Tried calling his employer & Union; nobody knows.:rolleyes1 :sad2:

just checking in quickly on break.

good morning all

keisha, i'll ask mr mac those questions for you. he'll know the answers off the top of his head.

yea, some of those guys last night were great and a few were not with the program...........i'm hoping they are the ones that get dropped.

no snow today and that is a very good thing.

i don't mind root canals once i get past the shots.
then, it only hurts in the checking account.............
tell your doc you want lots of vitamin V.

gotta split
bbl

I'm off to pick up the refund check, drop it off at the bank, pick the kids up from preschool and meet Scott at the park.

I'll catch up when I can. It's 72 here today and just too beautiful to be indoors.

Afternoon....sorry I missed morning roll call, I was running a little late and then I had plenty to do this morning here at work...my best friend here is having a rough day and I'm trying to be supportive. She is just overwhelmed with additonal duties being heaped on her plate and she is at the point of getting nothing done:sad1: She is such a great gal, I hate to see her being so stressed.

KS, a hot toddy is Jack Daniels, honey, lemon juice and water or tea, served hot....she claims it works, and I believe it does! For her age, she is spry, gets around, lives alone and is really just a marvel! We all love her SO much, and its wonderful that each generation...ours, our kids, now their kids have had the chance to know her. Mm MIL's parents died when she was 10, she was the youngest of 10 kids, so this Aunt, who is older than my MIL more or less raised my MIL. This aunt went at a young age to keep house for a family, so they took in my MIL also and the rest is history. I just spoke to SIL and she came up with a story to get her to the house on Saturday...it is gonna be so FUN:dance3:

Oh dear, sorry bout the root canal, hope all goes well. I remember all those great contracts and bonuses...by the time Uncle Sam gets done with them, they are like 1/2 the original amount....used to make me so mad, taxed to death, that's for sure.

Pam, Trent feeling better?

Momma, don't spend your refund all in one place.

Mac, have fun at school....will be anxious to see if the gals keep up the pace on Idol tonight. I really can say I enjoyed last night...I like when they sing songs that are upbeat. Oh, I didn't like that Nick guy too much with the Fever song either...
