Hey gents...glad you dropped by with a morning shout out...

PAM & DAVE.........AWESOME NEWS
see, hard work pays off! That should make staying on track easier, you are seeing results so quickly! YAY you guys..:cool1: :woohoo:

Sun is hiding the fact that something might be coming our way in the form of wetstuff out of the sky.....ick........

Almost lunch time for me...see ya later

Way to go Pam! That is awesome news!

Mic I have heard that. My mom was suppose to be coming on Thursday, but depending on the weather, she maybe leaving today.

Bob I'm so sorry I forgot you in the morning shout out. how was your weekend?

good monday everyone.

pam, congrats to trent and his team. you knew he was the one that made the team a winner..!!

keisha, i had that trio at applebees and thought it sucked big time.
it was the appetizer of quesadillos, lime chicken breast, rice, brownie.
the rice was yucky, not mexican.

i ate the dessert and mr mac was not happy ..........well, he wouldn't eat it either. that was 2 weeks ago we went there. they have that trio special that started last month here. i think they have them as those items don't sell as well as the rest of the menu.
they are changing their menu so much the past 2 years. they dropped what i liked there.

mic, next month you will be on vacation.....take us all with you please.

had to shovel snow this morning. it warmed up but then the snow came in.
supposed to get more later.

tomorrow i work.

my family likes applebee's...we don't get the trio though. I think i did once but I think i got moz. cheese sticks, and some type of cheesecake for dessert. The meal was some type of chicken i think...I just remember that i shared the app. and the dessert with the family.

aubrey and noah love the mac n chees there. Noah is the master of mac n cheese so if it is NOT good then we can't go there:sad2:

I am just waiting to get dumped on by the snow...it is coming...just not here yet.

To top it all off our furnace isn't working right. It is 65 degrees in our house right now...i need dave to look at our furnace to see if it is lit...i a hoping we don't need a new one.

pam, we had to buy a new furnace the day before thanksgiving.
it's no fun to put over 2k into something you can't eat or wear.

hope you don't have furnace problems.

Lee came home to take Nico to ice skating lessons. All he keeps talking about is passing the test at the end of this session (Mid march I think). If he does, he can officially start ice hockey lessons.

Pam I hope your furnance can be repaired.

What fun for Nico, I bet he will be zipping all over the ice in no time...kids adapt to that stuff so quickly

We had a squall of snow come through around 4 p.m....didn't lay on the ground or anything, just was swirling around like crazy...still calling for some tonight and then tomorrow night a wintry mix...I hate that wintry mix...that means sleet, snow and ice........yuck

Pam, hope it is not your furnace. We got a new one about 4 yrs. or so ago, just decided that ours was so old, we wouldn't wait for it to kick the bucket, we would just replace it. Hope you can fix it, cause as mac said, it's easy to drop 2K on the darn things.

Has gas gone back up for everyone? I stopped tonight and a lot of places were at $2.29:scared1: and it was like $2.05 just a couple weeks ago:confused3 I drove over the bridge into VA and saved .02 cents a gallon:laughing: I'll be sure and not spend that 20 cents all at once.

think i should drive to mic's neighborhood and buy gas there.

haven't seen $2.05 in months.........

we are at $2.30 and that is a bargain.
in the city/chgo, it is about $2.55

gas here is $2.19 a gallon. Dave got his new car today and it reminds me of a mini dodge durango...it is kinda funny looking:laughing: We will start using that for our trips to lincoln and omaha as coke will pay for the gas...gotta like that...we just have a little taken out of dave's check every month. He does have to track his personal miles the first week of every month and i just told dave that we won't drive it that week....nothing like cheating the system:thumbsup2

I am thinking of replacing our furnace if it needs it or not...don't know how old our furnace is but we have been here for almost 10 years and i know it wasn't new when we moved here. I am thinking it will probably pay us in the long run.

It is snowing...well maybe a heavy sleet here. i'm not sure how much they are calling for but i know my kids are hoping school gets cancelled tomorrow. I have to say that i am kinda too...i could sure use an easy day torrow:rolleyes:

Oh, I may be on my own this weekend with the kids. Dave is thinking about going to Texas with his parents to watch Nebraska baseball. We still have to figure a few things out but he really wants to go. I may have to call into walmart sick on thursday:rolleyes: we will have to see.

Ocm--that is cool about Nico!! Hope he passes the test so he can start hockey.

Guess we are lucky down here. I just filled up for $1.97 yesterday. Of course filling a suburban is never really a bargin.

Glad Nico is having fun skating.

pam, depending on the furnace you have, it should last 15 years.

the one we have now is full warranty thru 10 years. after that, we pay for labor only.

Cool about the cokemobile Pam...that will help out when you go to town...

I guess your lousy weather is heading our way, although no signs of anything fallling from the sky yet...morning will tell

Our furnance that we replaced, like you are thinking Pam, catching it before it dies, was at least older than 20 yrs. old...we have lived here for 30 yrs...the furnace was what was in the house when we bought it, and I'm thinking it was 4 or 5 years ago we got a new one. Our's is not guaranteed as mac's is, but we get a service plan every year on it. If this one lasts as long as the the old one, I doubt I'll be worrying about replacing it again;)

Well, I've been falling asleep watching TV, so I think I'll go back and go to bed now...I was passing by the computer and stopped to say goodnight all.

good tuesday morning .......

how do you like all that snow we are getting??
you know how i feel about it

going to work at the high school.
gotta get ready to leave soon

see you when the school bell rings.
:teacher:

can't believe i beat tony out of bed this morning.

that is what happens when you have to get up at 4:45 and shovel the drive way so you can leave for work at 7:00...........

Good morning....Tony, is it raining down your way? You can blame my SIL/BIL, they are down there and every time they go someplace, the weather goes haywire..:)

We got a dusting of snow, our mess is supposed to be later today/tonight...yuck.....

Have a good day, mac careful getting to work...gotta run and get my buggy warmed up for the commute.

Morning all :)

Our snow started overnight -- we're supposed to get anywhere from 8-20 inches (nice range, eh? :thumbsup2 ) by tomorrow morning.

With all the snow the Northern states have seen this past month it's really not helping the global warming cause;)
