He can come after me all he wants. To come after his kids like that made me madder than ever.

It was the sentance after that drove his point home to me. The sentence after he said he was ashamed of the children was, "I can't believe your not!"

I was so mad that I just told him not to be around any of us. Don't bother being apart of our lives. Which was not the most mature response, admittedly.

What I really should have said was, "The only thing I am ashamed of is that you are my kids father."

Anyway, the counseling session went ok. Honestly, after a comment like that, I think for me it's over. But, I need him to step up and be a father to my kids. I need him to work on his communication skills so he doesn't say things that cut so deep. What happens when he is having a conversation with the children and he comes out with a horrible statement like that?

I just saw that on TV, but I didn't have the sound up becuase the girls were home.

Ed - I meant to tell you this before, but I am jealous. I may end up at that resort too. I haven't stayed there yet, but it looks so quiet and pretty that I really want to try it.

Our plan was for next May (for Ryan's 3rd birthday), not this May. I don't know if we'll get to WDW while we're in London -- we'll probably just go to DLP instead.

Morning everyone

Ed got me looking at the`rates for our vacation to Disney this fall. Right now, Disney has certain weeks on sale. One of them is 9/30 though 10/6. But I think we are better off waiting to see about the free dining plan. I guess I coudl always book the week and then switch if the dinning plan comes out. I need to look at the kids calendars, but I am think that first week or 10/21 though the following week. That one is on sale too.

I'm on a reagae kick, have been dancing around the house to Shakira 'hips don't lie' much to my DS dismay, DH thinks it's mighty cool though lol.

somewhere smart people are enjoying their Ipods, I still haven't got my shuffle up & working that I got from Xmas. Got all my songs loaded & now my battery needs charged. My youngest DS rolls his eyes, they cannot believe how technically challenged DH & I are (I still cannot program my VHS let alone my DVD player...bought a dual DVD recorder/player LAST year for Xmas and DH & I are still waiting each other out to see who tackles it first - a he has a degree in electronics lol).

mic - laundry sounds like a good idea....naw, I ran out of bacon (the savages got ugly) trip to Sams is in order. Still waiting to see if I can ship my boy off somewhere so we can go out to eat. If not, I guess next Saturday will have to suffice, figure it will be packed though.

ocm - bizarre, but with DVC I tend to have the next trip (or two ) in the works before we go on the current one . Least it takes some of the sting out of coming home. Time to take advantage of Sept/Oct. free dp is when your kiddies are young and school is more forgiving. I wish we lived close enough to drive down. With my back problems I can sit for much longer than 6 hours or so without issues; at that rate it would take us over 3 days.

Apparently, DH may have his dream come true & get to see a shuttle take off when we're there in June. Current date starts when we have 4 days left on trip, hope they get it launched. Saw a rocket take off last year, pretty cool IMO, the locals @ Jetty Park were so blase, some didn't even turn their heads to watch lol. Anyone ever see one?

KS, I thought I heard music and someone dancing...

Funny you should talk about your ipod...I was just downloading some music to make come cd's for the car and to add to my mp3 player..I'm like a maniac gathering my music...LOL...I've found songs from way back that I hadn't heard in years (think 80's metal/hair bands) that is still kickin' when you listen to it...I have the dvd figured out and the DVR...LOL...you really should move forward KS and figure it out, you'll be amazed at how neat it all is.. I know what you mean though, I hate when I have to ask my ADULT kids how to do stuff. DS showed me how to download the music and put it on the mp3 and then burn a CD...I had an inkling, but no real clue how to do it...thank goodness for having had smart spawn..

Still cold here, even with the sun out...everytime I peep my nose out, I pull it right back in. My dh hindered my shopping last night, so I may head over tomorrow to hit Costco in stead of Sam's for a change, and get the stuff that I didn't get last night cause he boggles me when he tags along...

Laundry is still tumbling...and clean sheets seem to be calling me to duty...hope everyone is enjoying their weekend so far.

I forgot to mention, NO we have never seen a shuttle take off, after going to Florida for over 30 some years, and my dh is like your's wanting to see one in this lifetime, we never have seen one. We either miss it, or they have cancelled it or something has not been aligned with the moon and stars...hey, maybe we could go together to see one!! Now that is a plan

just now on the computer catching up.

had 2 great days of teaching. the thermostat in the rooms were broke and were heated to 91 degrees..........i loved it. especially when the students fell asleep from the extra warm room..

ocm, tell your husband he should be greatful of the only problem with his kids are runny noses. i would switch in a heart beat if that was the only thing wrong with mine. try dealing with a son that has been hospitolized 4 times for suicide attempts. and a son that has disappeared off the face of the earth in a foreign country......THEN complain about a runny nose.

there are reasons why some husbands become an EX........








and today's weather is a sunny 13 degrees right now. you knew that had to be posted. almost warm enough to break out the sunscreen....

Mac, I know you would be groovin' to the 91 degree classroom temps once they got the propane replaced and heat on work, it felt like that in my area at work with the sun coming in....the guys were like you woman are NEVER happy, first you are cold, then you are hot.........my reply, "but you love us anyway"

I agree Mac, people need to be thankful for what they are blessed with as far as the kids go.......

Wicked fun times. The woman asked me if I wanted to go with another one tonight at 8, but I'm not sure. I spent more money at this party than I had planned on spending.
