then off to choral concert (brainiac music teach decided to lump the elementary school & jr. high together...figure a 3 hour epic...sigh!)

think chinese buffet will work tonight...pretend we the family in the Christmas Story...fra, la, la, la, la (very un-pc, excuse me poor upbringing)

ds just told me he needs a pair of black pants for the concert, navy blue won't do! WTH??? Said he told her he didn't have a black pair...she replied that if his mom wouldn't buy him a pair, she has "extras"...grrr. Guess we'll stop @ macy's too, might harm his psyche for life if he wears "used" pants...bah-bug lol.

I'm slapping that goofy smile on my face & having a good night, hope you all do too.

i just made a pot with my bunn maker, but another cup is good, especially when mr robot makes it.

i received a call earlier that my days to work this week have been cancelled.

i was planning on working tomorrow and friday so i could christmas shop.


on to plan B

using son's laptop and the fan won't shut off.
think i better get off of it for now.








i don't want to hear anyone out there wishing for snow for christmas.
we had ours here and still have some on the ground in the snow banks.

I got a VISA card from my SS. I thought that my SS would be paying my charge bill every month (Disney trips, Caribbean vacations, Las Vegas binges)....but then I read the fine print and it actually works like a debit card. A very cool gift indeed and I will share what I buy with it at a later date.

miss pamela had me in the ss/kk exchange.
she sent me a gc for (my son's favorite joint) Culvers. it's the bestest son said to me!! she placed that gc in a name ornament stocking that i placed on the tree now.
also received another ornament, put the snowman ornament on the tree and a little pretty kitty i put in one of my stockings.

inside the magic shoebox, she put a bag of hard candy.

did i make out like a bandit or what........

and i have 2 clean shoeboxes to add to my collection.
ah, the memories..............

thank you miss pam, you are a kewl one!!

A cute little sled ornament that says Pam on it, a gift card to Kohl's, some lotion, some body wash, and some lip balm, and it all came in a cute little basket! All the things I like! Thank you sooo much Mic!!!

Mac - the kitten sounds and the ornament sound just like you. Hearing it now, I thought Culivers was a restaurant you liked too..

Oh man, everything is awesome...aren't we all just swell to each other... Pam, glad you liked the goodies, and I thought those little name sleds were the cutest things, (I actually had two more in my hand for my little kids and when I got to the checkout at Macy's, they had lost the runners, and I had picked them up on the other side of the store and didn't want to trudge back over, so I only got yours!!) and mac, you did make out like a bandit...remember to use the gift card to stuff your own tummy on one of those days you don't feel like cooking, and a kitty, now that is up your alley

I know what I'm getting...my ss sent me a message about a time crunch... but I'll wait for this person to check in before I do the big reveal.........LOL............and believe me, I'm a happy/lucky girl!!

I got a great gift box that had several items including some Buffett CD's, a Red Sox hat,a Mickey Mouse Antenna Topper and some gifts for Lin and the boys too, Candy Canes, Pencils,Glow Braclets,Candy,Stickers and Memo Paper. Oh and she must have raided the Mousekeeping carts she also sent me some WDW shampoo.

carmen and i did the chgo meet from that thread on sunday near me.
they love culvers so that is why we went there.

pam did a lot of thinking and i guess when she saw the culvers meet, she figured that as the place for the gc.
pam is a good thinker.
but, it was carmen that picked culvers. they don't have them in the city only in the suburbs and the chgoland homies love culvers.

My holiday trip starts tomorrow !! I'll leave Orlando around 11:00 a.m....drive to Atlanta and visit with Bernadette and the kiddies then fly to Memphis for Christmas and an interview with the Carrier people on 12/27 up there, fly back to Atlanta on 12/28 and spend New Years with Sweet and family then back to Orlando Jan. 2nd !!!

So if I don't get a chance to get back here in the morning.....MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL AND A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
