Morning everyone

I hope you had a good weekend. Mine was busy, although Im not sure what exactly I did. Nico had his final game of the season. His team went undefeated, and then we had a party for them after. That was really fun, since all the parents get a long too.

Then, Sunday I watching th Skins lose to the Bucs, but I have to say the rookie QB had an excellent game. The first throw he got slammed hard in a blitz. More like a welcome to the NFL type hit. But he looked great out there and the team seemed to respond to him. Hopefully, they keep him on for next year and build a team around him. He is only 24 so if the team and coaches, can get their act together, he can be the QB for a while.

Anyway, then I went to church with Sam-a-lama. She was very very good in church. And even when she talks when she isnt suppose to, or whines, her voice doesn't project the way Julie's does. She's so quiet.

Mic - that story abotu your grandson and your husband was funny. Nico always hands me the phone and says, "here mom, your mom's on the phone" Maybe it's the age they are at.

Keshia - congrats on hitting the 5k!!

Ed - your kittens are so cute! I hope you have a great time on your trip!!

Mac - Gald you got the lanyard!! That is much better than getting the bills I get.

TVT - It's 35 here right now. You better pack your flannel underwear.

Gant - Are you all ready for turkey day?

Bob - are you off this week?

Deena - please clean out your box!!!

Jason Campbell did do a good job.....and don't you worry about my underwear!!

Good morning everyone. Hope you all had a great weekend. Look at KS with 5K! :cheer2: I'm nowhere near that. :smokin:

The big Turkey Day football game is almost here. It is the 100th meeting between the Phillipsburg (NJ) Stateliners and the Easton (PA) Red Rovers. USA today is doing a spread on the game this week and the game will be televised nationally on ESPN2 live at 9:00 am on Thursday. There will be about 20,000 at the game but I should get some decent TV time since I will be on the sideline taking pictures. I just might have to wear something lime green. My Liners are coming into the game riding a 22 game winning streak. Easton sits at 10-1 losing only to the #1 ranked team in PA. It's gonna be a barn burner.

Hope you all have a great day.

:wave2: glad you all had good weekends, I must get on the ball & pull it together for thansgiving...dh's family called & asked us to "move it up" a few hours because they have somewhere else to go later:lmao: , evidently to DIL's dad's house...inconsiderate IMO, wth!

of course, doormat that i am, I accede to keep the peace; dh can't imagine why my nose is out of joint though. Now my 2 older kids will have to cut short their time w/their dad's family in order to make the "gate time".

I hate jumping thru hoops to accommodate all this blended family crap.

OCM.....this is for you... :badpc:

I'll set an alarm clock in your room. 4:15am wake up call.

Gant - I hope your team wins!! Dang, I can't beleive you get to be at the game taking pics. How exciting for you!! sounds like your team should blow them out of the feild!! I hope you have a great time..stay warm.

I always schedule my meals so that I don't interfere with football on TV. One year we were at my aunts and she waited to feed everyone until it was halftime. I think it was 8-9 before we ate and my kids and half the guests were not pleased about this at all. I think I am going to try to eat around 4pm.

I have to say, I miss being home for Turkey Day because they have a Turkey bowl every year. I hate missing that. My family is big enough that we play the Sat after thanksgivng and we have 4 teams. We pair off, then winners of the one game play the winners of the other. I really hate missing that.

OMG!!! How incredibly rude!!! I can't even imagine. I would do the same thing you are doing, but that is because I try to accomidate everyone, at the inconvience of myself too. I'm so sorry your DH's family is like that. I would be highly aggitated.
