We had our Pellet stove installed yesterday, boy it almost baked us out of the living room. I had it set on 2 on a dial from 1 to 5 and even with it 30 degrees out it was 83 in the living room I had fans blowing the heat to the other rooms.

Ed, we always knew you were a hot dude Sounds like your stove will be helpful when the real cold weather drops in. I broke and put the heat on this morning, it was 50 degrees in the house and pretty chilly in here. The sun is out and it is another gorgeous day.

May make a run to Wal-Mart, not sure........gave the dog a bath, got dressed, had breakfast, read the paper and here I am...sitting around doing nothing...and I really shoud be doing something

covered you all at church today.

i have spent from 1ish to just now on the phone with my brother who lives in hawaii....i would have stayed on longer but the static became too great.

mr mac just loves those big phone bills.

i held the phone up to the tv so he could hear what was happening to them.
all he heard were sirens going off and military planes circling.

he said he was glad i called him and got through as they had no idea what was going on. he felt the movement of his building as it swayed.
he figured something not good was happening.

Now I have a thought about our secret santa, and it just that, a thought and no one has to think it is a good thought...LOL....what if we took what we do for each other as secret santa's, and made a donation to something charitable? Does that sound good or not? I won't be upset with anyone thinking it's a dumb idea.........I know we have so much fun with our ss and keeping our picked name a secret, but what do you think? Post whatever you feel and I'm in one way or the other.........I LOVE our tradition!!

its a mess. can't cook and can't go to the store. no stores open as all of honolulu lost power from all of this.

worse thing is he won't be able to see the cardinals tonight.......

right now i have my phone sitting by the tv so brother in hawaii can listen to the cardinal/met game.

he is sick about missing it.

an hour ago he started to go down, all 11 floors by stairs, to the pool to get water out of the pool to use to flush the toilet. he won't have power back for a long time. he is guessing by sometime tuesday if he is lucky.

the store he shops at which is about 10 minutes from his house caved in and trapped 13 people this morning. most have broken legs and arms.

he can't make any calls out so i end up calling him all today.
gee, if anyone calls here, i have call waiting, i will miss it while he listens into the game.

he has a company over there that deals with building supplies so he will be busy once all calms down.

he hasn't complained about all of this, he just accepts it. he's such a laid back dude.

now i am about to get off and enjoy the game. rooting for my red birds.
i know all of you don't like them, that's ok

pam loves her yankees. isn't it because of the uniforms ??? lol
