morning...hope you all are well

my ds are hiding from me (haven't seen them since Sat. a.m. but, am told they're alive ). They tend to lay low when the do something really bad...i don't want to know, la, la, la, I can't hear them, la, la, la (my fingers are inserted in my ears).

evidently, they're nursing world class hangovers that shall go down in infamy (i do have my sources lol).

mic - the ex was right with them...partners in crime, i'm afraid. dh begged off, while he makes nice w/ex, he sure isn't about to go on a drinking binge w/him...that pesky subject of unpaid child support might rear it's ugly head. My guy's a class act, not sure if i could keep a calm visage in his place. Hope the *hit doesn't hit the fan during the wedding festivities.

pam - hope your little darling sails thru the surgery with flying colors!

deena - how was the game?

many excuses for the poor soul who gets my secret santa...i had to stuff it into the priority mail bag (they were out of boxes...our government @ it's finest #@%???). I had it wrapped so pretty too, in Disney paper , use your imagination, please.

Aubrey says she isn't scared because she is 5 now! She can do alot of things since she turned 5...like it is a magic number!

Well the Texans lost (we were all suprised ) but we lost to a hometown guy, Vince Young so it was all good. Lots of cheers from the stands when he made the winning TD in OT.
Connor says he had a good time. He got a hot dog and ice cream and I had David take Connors GB as backup

off to youngests DSs basketball game, he doesn't play much, if i blink...i'll miss him. DH & I cannot wait to get my paws on him later, got a progress report in the mail...apparently, although he's gotten A's on all his tests, he's forgotten to hand in any homework assignments...grrr. Let the grounding begin...hmmm, wonder what I should take away. Sleepovers, his computer, video games...what to do, what to do. We just had meeting w/guidance counselor who told us he's #3 in the class; wonder what this will do to his curve? Think they just take the final grade (i hope). I can feel my grey hairs growing by the minute.

spent the day cooking beef veg. soup & italian wedding soup (the better to soothe those upset tummies lol).

LOL! I hate pics of me and I almost never post them. However, the color was awesome and the sizes were too perfectly mismatched not to thank you in person. Since I couldn't do that, this was the next best way for me to say thanks. I love it!!

I had a feeling I picked the right sizes, wasn't sure you'd like...bought them before you mentioned your luv for wearing boxer shorts.

Personally, i like to sleep au naturel but, have been embarrassed one time too many in my household full of young men , they go temporarily blind.

Update as to missing sons...

oldest is on his way to an Italian eatery (he got one of his Xmas presents in the mail...the Entertainment book & had to try it out lol).

youngest still hasn't eaten solid food, guess he can't run w/the big dogs yet.

Absurd Wedding Question #1:

Ex husband called future DIL today & asked that all the parents (we're talking 4 sets here) be seated @ one table together.

I haven't laid down any request for the event yet but, this broke my record.

I said no way in *ell will I sit @ the same table w/my ex & my current DH...bad enough I've got to slap a smile on my face for most of the day...I'd like to have some space.

Am I being unreasonable? DIL is agreed to my demand. Said she told him I don't want to sit with him . Now, I am the bad guy. Hate to put her in the middle but, since the ex isn't paying for the wedding, what say-so does he have anyway?

I gotta headache, bet it only goes downhill between now & then.

I haven't sent mine either and I tried not to say anything, honest. But, I had the time to take the pics and I really liked them. Sorry I broke the rules..but I don't do it often.
