can you believe this? I'm awake at 6:30 on a Saturday woke up witih a headache, but took my dope and it is going away, I'm going to go lay down again.

congrats to our bird watcher mac! I watched the end of it, guess Cinderella couldn't find her slipper this time around, but Detroit and had an amazing season for a team that was said to be losers.......yeah, they lost the big one but they fought a good battle to the end. St. Louis also had it in their stars to win, they have lost the last few years after making it to the series. I know you are doing the happy dance mac, and hopefully a couple of us will be doing it next year this time.........NO NOT YOU PAM......

Congrats to the Cards!!! I just saw the end of it!

I am off to tumbling..after that we will change the kids into their halloween costumes and go to my grandma's. We will then head out to my mom's to drop off the kids for the night.

Crazy day...even crazier tomorrow!

pam - i was a the driver last night too, expect I'll be doing it again this evening...keeps me off the streets.

Not only does DS have to serve 6:00 p.m. mass (to be followed by pizza run & guest pick-up) but, just remembered that DS has to serve @ a wedding. For my ex's family no less (they specifically requested his services). I do still hate to interact with them, not looking forward to the shower next weekend. I shall slap a frozen smile on my face & make nice...good prep for the wedding (I knew this day would eventually come).

Been worrking on throwing out papers and stuff that have piled up around here....gosh found stuf from 3 yrs. ago so I have a big bag of useless info getting trashed. Need to get some glad rags on and slip to store and get something for our little ones coming over tonight. It is so windy and cold, they won't want to walk or trick or treat too far...I wish it wasn't even happening, I have SO much to do.......

KS, you make nice now and bite the bullet, it will soon be an event of the past.....it will all be worth it....wow, the wedding is getting closer and closer.....this is the last weekend of October already

I subscribed to Consumer Reports online, cause I'm thinking of splurging on a new kitchen range......I'm more confused then ever Information overload for sure...maybe I'll put an SOS out on a thread here on the Dis about electric ranges....I'm sure I'll get some info....... perhaps even info I don't want to know.......maybe it will start a great debate and get closed.......

mic - we'll give you a hollar next major purchase...you'll be in the know! I need to buy a new camcorder, year old JVC (out of warranty) got the sensor blown to heck while I taped Fantasmic. Yep, the ol' man did tell me so! Of course, I plowed ahead & messed it up completely...add it to my list of transgressions.

Speaking of which, the ex's family neglected to leave the envelope for my DS as customary...guess they figure he gifted them his time...oh well.

Second round of thunder, lightening, hail, snow then rain going thru. My one dummy lost her head - poor dear.

dusted off the Haunted Mansion sound track, give it a dry run for halloween Off to collect my ghouls...have a frightfully delightful evening.

Good evening all. I postponed my 2 soccer games this morning. This afternoon was beautiful. Got the oil changed for my Chevy and picked up a ton of junk food for the house. Went out to get hoagie fixens for dinner. Tomatoe and basil ham, genoa salami, peperoni and provolone cheese with hoagie dressing, tomatoes and onions with soft hoagie rolls, YUMMY!

went to six flags at 10ish and home at 6.
took mr mac to dinner so he could have his drinky poos and i drove.

today is the day!!! We will see where trent ends up I have a feeling I am going to end up tough!

We went to Outback last night and it was very good! We ended up going to a comedy club and seeing a show...very funny! Had a good time last night...our town was dead though. We came back to find NO ONE was out...okay there were a few people but not anyone we knew!

It is suppose to be a very beautiful day here! I think they said it is to get in the 70's!!! I guess after the football game and baseball tryouts I will try to work outside for awhile and "winterize"

WELL...the weather around here which was colder than a witches you know what, rain and wind did something to my dsl connection last night...I fretted about it and then this morning made a friendly call to India and the guy fixed it for me! Wonders will never cease

We had fun Pam last night, although cool and windy, but the kids had fun. I was wore out...long story short, son went to look for car, found car, insurance issues because we still carry him on our policy, so I had to drive over to the dealership and co-sign, so it could be registered to both of us to get him on the insurance...........whatever.......its done, he's happy, I'm happy the whole world is happy

Off to get some apples this morning to put back for the winter....I'm so relieved I got this internet figured out, I was like in major withdrawal because I couldn't get online.... Gosh, there were more accidents in our area with falling trees!! Geez, we aren't alone on the freak accident page

Good sunday testers!

Survived another sleep over, waiting for munchins to wake up to feed 'em breakfast.

Forgot to set clocks back in all the hub-ub, sent DH out the door to work this am an hour early . He couldn't clock in early, had to cool his heels for an hour in the parking lot. Surprisingly he called & still sez he luvs me...think I'll keep this guy .

Gant - bet you get a request for the monster mash today

mic - glad you got the car bit settled! Hope the weather's done acting up for a while. Hour north of us got lots of snow overnight, glad we just miss the snow belt off the lake. Blonde moment...how do you "put back" apples?

pam - did you get the football issue settled? "...the town was dead..." of course, it's Halloween lol. Sounds like a great night out. We have our trick or treating on the 31st too, supposed to warm up during that day to the high 50's...a heat wave. It's been so darn cold, hope the rest of the winter doesn't follow suit.

When's Deena getting back, hope her cruise & orlando trip is going well.

mac - how many haunted houses have you visited this season...you're a frequent flyer.

We are back, another windy excursion...geez, it can stop anytime now.

LOL KS, I guess the term put back is kinda funky I really meant we were buying alot of them, and going to put them in the basement in the cool, so they will last for a couple months. Fresh apples from the orchard do well in keeping for several months when kept cool........LOL...see, you learned a new language today.

Did the sleepover go well? Guess so, you are still willing to feed them!!

Off to try and get something done.
