tvt sez it's Christmas in April:banana: I believe!!!! got the snow, where's the goods?:confused3

mic - sorry about the soprano spoilers:guilty:

mac - save me the red & blue ones:love:

pam - 68??? I vaguely remember when it used to get warm in the spring.

ed - the animals aren't lining up 2 by 2 yet?

If this 'lil test goes to July, I'm sunk for sure after late June on the Dining Plan:scared: ; always come back home with 5 pounds as a souvieneer.

I actually gained weight while I was sick. But, I lost a pound already! WHOO HOOO!! I'm exhausted, so I am skipping the gym until I get some decent sleep. But hopefully I can stay on track.

Mac - go ahead and eat the M&Ms, just don't eat anything else.:thumbsup2

Keisha - with all the walking you do while you are in the world, you should be ok for June.

Mic - I hope it warms up over that way for you all. My mom called me complaining about how cold it was. You poor things. It's been cold here, but nothing like it has been there.

Ed - glad you found us. We were about to send out a search party.

TVT - I guess I was naughty becuase Santa didn't leave me any gifts.:confused3

Pam - I am in for the $5. Its the biggest loser by July? I can handle that. I need all the motivation I can get. :thumbsup2

:headache: Morning again...

KS, you didn't spoil anything for me on the Soprano's...I had watched it, but was dozing on and off through the last 1/2 hour or so, so I needed to re-watch it to catch what I had slept through;) I'm not someone to get p.o'd over spoilers.....

LOL...yes Mac, eat the candy, just eat nothing else nutritional all day:rotfl: I kinda like that thinking too

Momma, take it easy til you feel up to par again..perhaps you gained some water weight with that pound, if you were drinking alot while sick...remember, it too shall pass:thumbsup2

Yes, your Mom is right, it is cold here for this time of year, but almost every spring we go through this, so it really isn't something out of the ordinary...I'll be whining how hot I am in about month from now

SO...yesterday I only had a salad for supper and lived through the evening...had the urge to feed my face, but I have to recognize it isn't hunger talking to me, but just a habit. I had raisan bran cereal for lunch, an apple, a small snack in the afternoon and a meal replacement bar for breakfast. Today, I have a small chicken breast and greenbeans for my lunch. I'm not a huge fan of Slim Fast drinks, but think I might pick up a pack to use for my breakfast some mornings, it is just so easy to drag along to work with me. I just can't believe how 10 lbs can just attach itself to your body like it belongs with you.....ugh......

Mic - it could be some water weight. However, on the really strong medicine I had to eat. It would have torn my stomach up more to have nothing in it while eating. Water weight probably too, although, I don't think that was most of it.

I got stopped by the director of preschool today and she offered me a job. I would be working in the three year old class next year on Mondays and Fridays. Basically, Sammies tution as it is right now, would be compeltely free. If I stuck her in 5 days a week, I would still owe them money, but I would have three days of the week to myself. I'm pretty sure I will take the job. And all this time I thought I was retired:rotfl2:

morning all!

finally got here to check in. It is a crazy day here today...hopefully it slows down for me.

Hope everyone has a good day!

very cool ocm!!!:thumbsup2 will just called you semi retired!

how can ocm retire when she is only in her 20's.....

just a quick drive by.

back to class now.

Congrats Momma on the job...my friend did that, she bartered for tuition by helping out..saved her a heap of wampum

SO...I've had a breakfast bar and a multigrain snack...it is almost lunch and I'm SO ready for it...trying to drink water...I hate doing it though, as it's hard for me to get to the rest room without someone sitting at my desk:guilty: but I know drinking water is a clue to staying full........I feel so committed after seeing that dratted scale this morning........ugh:headache:

ocm - i used to volunteer for cafeteria duty to get reduced tuition for my 2 oldest sons @ catholic skool...i hope to never see a 1/2 pint of chocolate milk in my life - ever again.

so water is the secret hmmm...was thinking about trying this out (think it'll help:rotfl: ). Anyone do try this-anywhere? Looks like something out of 20,000 leagues under the sea. they tout the fact that you hair doesn't even get wet! I hate wearing a mask, rips my hair out.

You know, I have been reading a lot about how if you drink a glass of skim or 1% milk, that helps you feel fuller as well. Now, milk to me is just nasty, but more power to the ones that can do it. I'll stick to the extremely cold ice water. Best stuff ever!!

Be sure to let us know how that works out for you:lmao:

afternoon all!

good job for staying on track mic!:thumbsup2 I haven't done to bad today either....had a couple of peanutbutter toast for breakfast with a glass of skim milk(YUMMM);) i personally love milk...when i was younger my uncle use to have a milk house and that is where my mom would get our milk....can you say LOTS of fat in that milk. It took alot of getting use to "town milk" but now i am down to skim milk. we go through it...about 6-7 gallons a week. ofcourse that is all i feed the daycare kids...their parents seem to think that milk is not important:confused3

for lunch i am having a ham sandwich and a salad. don't know about dinner yet...have to be to work by 6

KS, I agree with Momma, let us know how that dive works out:rotfl2: too funny.....that woman looks pregnant :rotfl:

I've been buying a milk product called Better Than Milk and there are other brand names for it...it is fat free, but has the taste of 2% which I can stomach...and once it's on cereal, you can't really taste it anyway. I've been good so far, and I don't have anything left here at work to eat anyway:banana: Ate fruit at lunch along with my chicken and green beans, now trying to drink water to tide me over til salad time. I know that no one is interested in what I'm eating :rolleyes1 :rotfl: but I think it helps to put it down and own up to what I've consumed!! Nothing bad though! SEE I can be good when push comes to shove:banana:

I'm so ready to go home..........ugh

The gent is a bit rotund too; perhaps they're retaining water?:rotfl2:

My guys are off to wolf down chicken wings then off to watch the Pens whoop the Senators:yay:. Think I'll eBay (he-he) till my fingers get sore.

Think I'll scarf down the last of the stir fry - it looks so forlorn sitting in the fridge, an act of mercy:rolleyes1

I must confess that I only drink 100% whole fat milk:scared1: ; usually throw the better portion of a gallon out when it expires - i need it in my coffee each am; and 1/4 cup (no more - no less) in my cereal. I think i've got milk ODD.:coffee:

KS, everyone has their own oddity...obviously your's is that 1/4 milk in the coffee....:lmao:

You will be so proud of me...I made mac n cheese for the guys, was gonna dish myself out a dabble...and said NO...I'm not gonna eat it  I had salad and a deviled egg for dinner and really, I am full, I'm just always wanting to graze...not a good thing...I intend to make it through tonight also:woohoo:

i found the other bag of chocolate easter candy.

it was really good.

now i have regrets....

pam - what is a milk house (barn?)

mac - my motto - never look back, especially in a 3 way mirror:lmao:

mic - you r serious in this quest, who can say no to mac & cheese!

btw, it's a 1/4 cup of milk in the cereal; coffee only gets 3 tablespoons; however...I need a full cup to dunk my cookies; but i don't drink the milk.:upsidedow

time to go watch the Pens:cheer2:
