don't think i will watch much more.


i stayed at royal pacific for the first time.
last 12 stays have been at hard rock.
probably go back to hrh next year as they have renovated the rooms, halls and rooms have plasma tv in them.


back to the future was open the second weekend at the studios but is now closed forever.
its a dead ride now.

the simpsons will take over that building.
its got a great story line.
the bus driver will feature in it.......

Don't really follow prof. baseball, seems so unfair that the Mets have such deep pockets when it comes to player salaries...are we rooting for the Tigers?

KS, within the last yr. we had the same issue, busted water heater...not much you can do, you end up like you, you just find a pond of water to wade through when they go and a BIG mess. For us, I went online with Lowes, ordered it and they had it ready for dh to pick up...(well, that is another issue, they had brought it to the front of the store for pick-up, when dh/ds got there, a clerk thought it was a return sitting at the desk, and took it back to the warehouse , probably the first time someone ever did their job , so they ended up having to wait longer while they "found" it) and then dh just installed it. Just had to hook all the lines back up to it. We have propane gas heating ours, just why the previous owner had that I don't know, but we've just stuck with it. This is the second heater we've gone through in our almost 30 years in the house, so I'm guessing I won't be putting in another in my lifetime, seems they average around 15 yrs. for us.

I do believe $25 was our secret santa figure last year. Oh my mac, we still get mileage out of the rare wood artifact Newbies, KS, Gant et al are great..the more the merrier

I think I talked myself out of going on the interview for the part time position. I can't give up my time off I've acrrued, I've not been away or taken any real time off in over a year plus this would be every other weekend, and for the first time in many years, dh and I both are around on the weekends. Seems like it might be a nice job, but just poor timing right now.

Tomorrow morning, I get to read to Cameron's kindergarden class. He's the "star of the week", so he gets all kinds of special stuff during the week. They asked for one of us to come in during the week to read to the kids or do an art project. Nicole's pretty busy this week, so I volunteered.

Well, here I was, at the post office, filling out a money order to send someone. I was all set and handed my envelope back to the woman and left. No harm, no foul. Except, when I got out of my car in my garage, there was a guy that I passed in line at the post office in my driveway. He walked up and gave me his name and phone number and insisted since i wouldnt give him my phone number that I give him my email. I wasn't thinking, i just reacted and he has my email.


He also asked me if I was from NY telling me he was from NJ. People often mistake my license plate with "DIS NY GAL" This entire conversation with this complete stranger took place in my garage with my car door opened where i had just pulled Sammie out. I got her out, turned around and he was there.

I did not need this right now. It's not a problem that this guy knows where I live, that I have kids, and has my email. It's only a potential probelm right?

mic-- i am sure you made the right choice...it would be nice to work less hours but the vacation time and such is important too. What i wouldn't like about that other job is the weekends...think you made the right choice
