mac - strange women...just friends you haven't met yet. Do you accept phone calls from home when you're away? I dread the daily crisis call from the homefront(s)...makes me think they don't want me to leave or better yet, come home soon!

ocm - I'm not going in Jan, unless I get invited on DSs honeymoon, however we are footing the bill. His indoor football league season (that's he's coaching) starts the day after they return. He jokingly said he might not be able to attend...perhaps I'll go with FDIL...great way to start off a marriage .

whew! What a weekend! I'm kinda glad it is monday so I can put my house back together and relax for a bit!

The parties were good! Aubrey had fun! I will post some pictures soon!

Good weekend here. We didn't have many plans except the usual -- swimming with Ryan early Sat. morning (and then the two of us got some breakfast) and soccer later Saturday morning with Cameron (he scored 5 more goals ). The rest of the weekend was spent relaxing around the house, except for Mass and brunch on Sunday.

I've got 3 , kept finding ones I liked better than the last...good excuse as any , got them all on clearance so price was certaintly right. Current hot prospect is black velvet sleeveless sheath with matching black & subdued threads of design in gold (go steelers) embossed flaring short jacket...hides my rolls LOL. Of course my mom keeps telling me how tasteless it is to wear black to a wedding but, fut. DIL said it was ok & she luvs the dress. I'm just not a chiffon-ey pastel kind of girl. Her bridesmaids are wearing black satin sleeveless dresses with a wide red empire sash...very elegent imo.

Good Morning everybody.

Had a very busy weekend, got up at 6am to take Chris to Soccer,

becasue they were the 1st game and it was picture day , get up shower

put DW's ECV(one of those ride on scooters it helps her get across the soccer field) on the back of the car, get wife and kids in car, go to soccer, get in line for pictures,it starts to rain

,still taking pictures,starts to rain heavy, stop taking pictures

,say to guy dont you have one of those ez-up shelters so you can keep taking photos, looks at me like thats the greatest idea in the world but nope never thought of it???, can we use the school gym,yup but we didnt bring the umbrella flashes so we dont have enough light

we will have to reschedule thanks for coming

OK off to the soccer field, field to soft for scooter, Hey other soccer mom

could you watch Chris while I bring DW and Scooter home so it doesnt get damaged in the rain( forgot the cover

) so bring dw and scooter back home dw decides to come back in sit in car till game over ok whatever, back to soccer field

there for a bout 15 min they call the game raining to hard, back home boy gets in shower to clean and warm up, I pack the car, get everyone in car go down to inlaws so they can watch the kids while Linda and I can go to Journey/Def Leppard (Sweet they were rock groups from the 80's) but first we go to eat at the Cheese cake Factory

with her friends who are going with us, we eat and make to the concert just in time because Linda and I have VIP passes for a preshow party and we got to meet Rick Allen the drummer for Def Leppard, we had seat in the sixth row from the stage and concert rocked both bands were great, we drive to inlaws crash there for night

the next morning we get up head to my Mom's house and have every over for my Bday party

we head home get the boys bathed and put to bed and fall asleep watching the Patriots game

Gant, where is our Gant this morning? Not at robot school I hope...or that it rained on his soccer game and he rusted up and is stuck somewhere...

Bob, looks like the baseball season is over for us Sox, Cleveland fans...or are the Indians still in the hunt anyplace? I'm glad the White Sox are maybe not gonna make anything either. Now it is up to someone to beat the Yanks butts......sorry Pam........I'm bitter and I except it, embrace it and admit it....

Um..I think you did enough for the both of us. I watched football all day Sunday while playing board games with the kids.

Oh..I have a soccer game story. My kids on Sat woke up at 5:30am, no big deal, they have no idea weekend vs weekday sleeping differences, so they get up at the same time no matter what day.

So, we hd soccer pics at 8:30am and Sammie did great. Then, once the soccer games started, she was a mess. It started at 9:15 and I think she cried for almost 40 minutes staright. One of the loud mouth moms (you know the ones standing up screaming at their kid to do this and do that) shouts over to me, "you know that show nanny 911, you should give them a call"

I was SOOOO damn mad. The funny thing is, she said it in the most friendly nicest way possible, as if this was the nicest thing to say. I was fuming. One of the other moms finally told her that she should jsut leave us alone..but DAMN. I was pissed.

Nah, the Indians have been out of it since, ummm, May? Ironically, DW called me this morning and said she has her firm's club seats for Saturday night's game. Gee, for some reason, nobody had claimed them yet. So we'll take the boys for one last game this year.
