ks--dress sounds pretty...i say go for it!

muffy--i'm sorry you have to work but look on the bright side...soon you will get to relax!!!

I've got 3 , kept finding ones I liked better than the last...good excuse as any , got them all on clearance so price was certaintly right. Current hot prospect is black velvet sleeveless sheath with matching black & subdued threads of design in gold (go steelers) embossed flaring short jacket...hides my rolls LOL. Of course my mom keeps telling me how tasteless it is to wear black to a wedding but, fut. DIL said it was ok & she luvs the dress. I'm just not a chiffon-ey pastel kind of girl. Her bridesmaids are wearing black satin sleeveless dresses with a wide red empire sash...very elegent imo.

Oh I think black at a wedding si fine especially if it is an evening wedding.

as homer would say, doh . Familiar w/story, got to admire his determination; honestly can't say I'm a Def Lep fan (think my kids thought they were ok though), we're more Stones, Allman Bros., Guns'NRoses types...it's all good.
