Macraven, I didn't know you were a teacher. Me too! In Vegas I taught Kindergarten, but since we moved here I haven't applied for my Virginia teachers license yet so I'm just teaching pre-K. I don't like it NEARLY as much as Kindergarten--that's the best!

Actaully Bonnie, I'm have a bit of a head cold going on..but that is life. Apparently, my body didn't get the memo that moms can't get sick. There is no time for that.

I don't think Sammie is feeling all that great either actaully. Poor little thing.

Morning all :) :)

Gant...

Turns out that my team was so far ahead of his that I felt sorry for him. (Bob, I'm sure you could appreciate this.)

Actually, this weekend was the same for us. We divide up the teams into two mini-games of 4 on 4 (it's U6 Munchkins), the other coach said he was sending his best players to one half of the field, so I left my son and a couple other of my players who were some of our better players to play against them. I coached the other game, but apparently they won something like 9 to 2 (Cam had 4 more goals :thumbsup2 ). Meanwhile, on the half I coached, it was pretty much the same -- I think it was 10 to 1. After awhile, I felt kind of bad, but unfortunately, it only takes one or two good kids to blow by everyone and score a bunch of goals when it's only 4 on 4. And you can't tell a 5 year old not to score a goal.

hi guys, nice to see new faces:thumbsup2

off to take dear old mom for hip injections again, sometimes I think the replacements might be the way to go, unfortunately - she hates pain;) followed up by the orthodontist this afternoon, if I didn't run errands, I'd have no life @ all.

hope y'all have a great start to a productive week.

mac - what's your counter say today, mine sez 20 dayz:banana: , not that I'm
counting or anything.

Hello again

Monday's are always hard for me to get kick started, so I was rushing around this morning and couldn't give a proper good morning to everyone....SOOOOOOO....GOOD MONDAY MORNING..if Monday's are anything to be happy about ;)

Sorry for those with colds and little ones not feeling well :guilty: rest, drink a lot and hopefully it will soon pass.

Deena, what you learned and did this weekend sounds so NEAT ! I wish I had the time for something like that....please post some pix of your new pages! I would love to see the technique. Any technique of getting something DONE would work for me right now! I figure the rest of the year is tied up for me and I'll not have time for scrapping. My New Year's resolution for next year is to make time...thinking ahead ain't I.. :rotfl:

Bob and Gant, that is awesome for the little soccer buddies to be doing so well! Congrat's....isn't it funny when we all say we have to go back to work to get rest..... :lmao:

KS, have fun running errands

Muffy, what type of work do you do? I've been wanting to ask and keep forgetting......a sure sign of old age...oh my, computer problems...don't become Pam and have sticky-itis for too long.

Mac is out with the hooligans all week :goodvibes :teeth: :p

Pam, how many little ones this week? Sorry the football game ended up being a loss, but sounds like they tried their darndest and that is a good thing! My boys were always competitive though and HATED to lose, even when they played well

Tony, yes we missed ya! Glad you had a wonderful time with family and friends...personally, I think you look utterly charming in the crown :rotfl2: you should wear one more often :cool1: Welcome back and you won't have your Monday until Tuesday

Well, guess I gotta do a little work, will be by later

I'm thinking I would like to go back to work part-time...anyone got a job for me?

It's so true, though. :rotfl2: I'm wiped out by the end of most weekends, it seems. A good tired, though -- since it's usually family time. :goodvibes

I braved Mass yesterday with both kiddos on my own -- DW wasn't feeling too well, so I let her sleep in and kept our usual Sunday morning routine going. :thumbsup2

that was nice of you! You are such a good daddy and husband!! :thumbsup2

It wasn't too bad, actually. Cameron goes to a back room behind the altar for part of the Mass where all the school aged kids go and learn about something from the Gospel, but at a kids level, so it was just me and Ryan for part of Mass. The only issue we had was when Ryan slipped going from the pew to the kneeler and hit his head, so we ducked outside for a few minutes so he could calm down. :)

Oh, and our bowling night on Saturday went well. :thumbsup2 I was feeling pretty good about my 147 for my first game, but then our teammate, our neighbor who is 38 weeks pregnant, bowls a 168 for her second game!! :cheer2: :cheer2: It was amazing!! She usually averages in the low 100's, so it even surprised her!! We told her she can't have the baby now -- it might mess up her bowling game. :teeth:

Man, never thought a paddling could look so enticing :dance3:
