I'm sorry about the meatball Mic. That is such a bummer. I know my stomach isn't use to a lot of food either. So when I do eat a lot I feel so sick.

I think the store is a perfect place for those heels.

the heels were at big hit at the grocery store :thumbsup2

have fun gang, back to housework....... :sad2:

Oh my, just for KS.......

Just had to see my alter ego again...want to be a pirate but, think I'm more of a wench!

Up early to church this a.m., my soul is safe for the day.

Only thing I don't like about the wedding (other than the fact that I have to "make nice" to ex-in laws) is that it starts @ 11:00 a.m. A year in advance all the other openings were booked...we have a small parish, can't imagine why the date would be popular - 2 days before Xmas? Reception @ the country club...and club that would ask us to be members isn't too exclusive LOL. We passed on membership, even the golf ones have a min. monthly dining requirement. I think their food is horrible but, the building is beautiful Tudor.

KS, the wedding sounds neato! Keep us posted, I do enjoy hearing about the preparations etc....11 is a little early, but then you party all afternoon and into the night :thumbsup2

I remember many years ago when I was younger and being invited to weddings of friends, that 11 a.m. was a traditonal time, especially with my Catholic friends to have the service. Of course, over the years, things have changed with how everything is done. I actually picked 4 p.m. and it still was hotter than heck.. :p that is one thing that really stands out about my wedding day and I will always remember, how hot it was...who the heck picks July anyway for a wedding? LOL...guess I just was anxious :joker:

mic - I remember when the service was nearly 2 hours long too! Last one I went to was only around an hour.

Having the groom-to-be's birthday dinner today (he'll be 26!) I remember when he was born, seems like just yesterday...I do feel old today...that whole circle of life thing I guess.

Oh KS, I feel your pain/joy.. ;)

My oldest was 27 in April... and we had been married for 6 yrs. before we had him........so I not only feel old, I AM old...LOL...wait til the grandkids come along, they are the light of your life, but they make the years gone by seem really "real"........to see your kids running around again in miniature :goodvibes

NO NO NO!!

No stealing my shout out.

But please feel free to make your own up.

Ok...my cousin that got married in Aug last year, is extremely Catholic. Anyway, they had to get special permission to have the "old" structure of the masses said. It was the most cold unpersonable thing ever. I think we were the hit of the mass, since we had M&M's. Every time Julie saw a yellow one she would say.."YELLOW..MMMMMM THATS MY FAVORITE!!!"

Well, my brothers and I were highly entertained. The brides side kept staring at us. I felt completely justified. If you are going to have a preist turn his back to me and talk in a language that is impossible to understand and even the bride and groom have their back to me for two hours...I'm bringing my kids snacks. Hey at least they weren't crying. :teeth:

It was sooo hot on my wedding day. And yes, i compltely know what you mean. I had my wedding at 5:30 on a Friday Evening in DC (traffic at that hour is insane) on Aug 13th. Terrible Planning on my part. Although, it was cheaper..and I can't imagine having more people at my wedding.

We were going to go outside and take pics at Brookside Gardens, but is was way too hot to stand outside and take pictures. So, we went to a really pretty hotel and took pictures there before the ceremony. :thumbsup2

yep, in my next go around, NO summer weddings for me  But then, next time around I will be pushing for the retiree with loads of $$ stashed away, won't be worried 'bout love with #2..learned something the first time :thumbsup2

mac, you must have a new shout-out, no recycled stuff...I love the morning shout-out...momma and Pam are the best at it........I can just add a post "what they said" right under it............LOL

hey mac, i'm thinking cl= chopped liver!

Back and burnt to a crisp from the ball games. Can't say we are the best in Nebraska, but i can say we are the 3rd best! :cool1: Out of 18 teams that isn't to terribly bad. Last year trent's team only won 1 game...this year they only added 3 new kids and they are now 3rd in the state! What a difference a year makes!! and a new coach! last years coach was kinda a joke! He only played the kids that he thought deserved to play and didn't play the kids in the positions they were good at...makes a huge difference!

since the day is half over I will save my shout out for the morning!
