Hi all.....been kept pretty busy all morning, had a mass mailing I've been working on...then mail, then other stuff, then the phones...whew...THEN SERVER BUSY when I DO try and come visit

Glad our fellas had super Father's Day's, they all are the greatest and deserve the best! It was a laid back day at our house.

Mac, go get those tests tomorrow!! Don't wait, behave and fast when you are supposed to so you can go get them done. I don't go back til the 27th for stitches out

Pam, sorry about Trent getting cleated. That hurts too.........hope it isn't too bad.

Ed is on his way to the sea of dreams........ I bet this week will drag waiting for the time to leave to get here...HEY BABY....how 'bout them Sox this weekend? Dramatic huh? LOL....savor every win like its the Series ;) and seeing the Yanks nose dive to the Nationals and then for Soriano to be the one to help the Nat's win... :cool1:

KS must be down at WDW soaking up all that atmosphere

Deena, sorry about all that rain, send some east, we have had none and it sure looks it around here...but hey, take it any way you can to get a 3 day weekend. That is sucky about your family not getting out of the airport on time, but hopefully it won't put much of a damper on the trip...heck, it's VEGAS...........you always have fun in Vegas. Enjoy your niece and nephew too, that is cool they are staying with you.

School just got out last Monday here...and I think they go back the very end of August, it is usually before Labor Day. It was always after Labor Day when I went to school, but it seems they start earlier every year. Year round is ok Pam, but my gs has that and it is weird times off, but as you say, there are some breaks in cooler weather.

Trent wasn't the one cleated....a kid on his team was cleated....

there has been some talk about doing the year round school here but most people are totally against it....it just wouldn't be summer vacation they say! :sad2:

juju, when is sister going to have baby #2?

just think, you will get a new playmate to love on soon.
it will be a happy happy day.

Well, originally she thought it would be Jan 11 (DF's Birthday), then one doc said he was changing it to Jan 18 as she was measuring a week behind. Today doc said it should've been Jan 13 to begin with and since it was only 5 days off and they only change it if it's a week or more, that's her due date. He told her if another doc tries to change it again she should tell them he said she could smack them :p. BIL is excited as the baby will be due Friday the 13, what can I say? He's a weirdo  . I'm hoping she has the baby Dec 31st or Jan 1st, that would be a good new year ::yes::!

I think she heard you! Ask and you shall recieve ::yes::. Talk about torrential downpour! Got a little soaked running to the car after dinner. Didn't have one of these :umbrella: .

Opps, sorry for the other kid Pam :goodvibes I was reading fast, not much time today at work to properly dish with my friends ;) plus I was getting the server ate you message over and over.......hmmmmm...kinda like Bob :teeth:

Jules, we had about 10 rain drops here, it got dark and acted like it wanted to rain, but it sorta went around us, we still need it. It wasn't too bad this evening earlier, but now it is warm and sticky.

Well, I'm off to bed, my jaw is a little sore this evening, just the healing process I'm sure. I'm still a little chipmunky, more noticeable to me than others. The worst is trying to eat.....but that is really :cool1: :thumbsup2 I've actually lost a couple pounds  It's hard chewing on one side only. I treated myself to a milkshake on Saturday while I was out, yummmy

If you are in line for any storms, stay dry and safe

I'm so frustrated with the server busy crap. It seems like I always get that stupid message unless it's wicked early or wicked late at night. And when you do post and get the "server is busy" message, you never know if your post actaully posted or not.

Highly aggitating!!!

Mac - good luck on the tests, whenever you get them done!!

Well, I'm with you. The pros outweigh the cons for year round school. Not only could kids get longer breaks during other seasons, but kids wouldn't get so far behind in the summer. A lot of kids forget their math and lose writing abailites during such a long break. Then the teachers spend the first 6 weeks of school reminding the kids of the skills they had previously learned.

Year round schools would be so beneficial for students.

I'm not so sure if the teachers would appreciate it though. :confused3

My car croaked on me today--as I was driving down the street  Luckily I wasnt to far from home so I called David and he came over there and waited with me the hour and twenty minutes it took AAA to get there. In the wrecker drivers defense there were flooded out cars all around Houston today so they were pretty busy moving those. Need to find a shop tomorrow and get it fixed. YAY cant wait to see that bill.
On a lighter note I have 7 kids tonight! lol

Deena that sucks about your car. I'm really sorry..one time in a blizzard in Philly I waited for AAA for 3 hours. But at least you weren't far from your house. If you ever feel the need for extra kids, let me know. I have a few here I could send ya. :lmao:

More later, gotta run.........have a good one...stay dry Deena...I was just watching the weather channel :sad2:

morning all

deena- hopefully you'll have a dryer day.

mac- you BETTER go get those test today!

mic- how's your teeth?

have to call Verizon and be on hold for 2 hours

catch ya later! :teeth:
