Well that is true. But, you love me despite the innocence.
KS, the doggie is my little "man". I'll give you the Reader's Digest version of how we got him. OK....we had a dog that we put to sleep 5 yrs ago, that looked just like this one, at the time we swore NO dogs ever again (we were traumatized by the whole ordeal). Decided I might like another dog, and not telling dh, I put in an application with a rescue group for cairn terriers (that is what he is). Never expecting a phone call, guess what I got? Call comes and I'm told they would like to do a direct adoption for this little fellow, family needs to find him a good home.(which appears would be us

) Fast forward to a couple emails and phone calls between me and them, doggie comes for a visit 5 days later and is now my new "baby". He is 3 yrs. old, just a sweetie and I love him to DEATH. His name is Shadow. DH came around, knowing full well I'd made up my mind to have him...

We've had him since February. He is what I call the Little Prince...he is well-behaved and they did a good job in raising him. They had him since he was a puppy. Oh, he was born in Germany and made the trip to the USA with his family who are military. He should really be from WVA though, he got his sister in the family way..

LOL, the family does still have the sister, so I didn't feel as bad when they had to leave him.

The dad was very sad as he and Shadow were pretty close. Shadow was kinda sad acting for awhile, but came around pretty quickly. We let the vet do the big "snip" and he is much better and calmer. I know the reason you thought "he" was a "she"...his Easter bandana has pastel eggs patterned on it with quite a bit of pink. My dh and ds said I should have picked something different, too much pink for a boy dog, but it was so "Easter-y/Springy" I loved it.
