I start my volleyball season tonight! I am going to play on just one team this year...i told the other team that I have to travel to play on that i wasn't going to play this year...

Bob - Do you get much out of going to church..aside from the food after? I'm trying to get something out of it, but I seem to be laughing at Julie more than anything else.

Yep, the prayer and the sense of community. I've always been a fairly devout Catholic, it's just been more recently that we've made a point of going every week. Cameron has to get used to going more often as well, since mid-year this school year, his kindergarden class will start to go to Mass with the rest of his school.

Mac, sometimes I feel just as you are feeling, and I still have a hair or two left... Hope all works out with flights etc. Guess your ds's friend will find out at the airport that the flight was delayed. I never head out to the airport anymore without checking my internet and/or phone if a flight has departed and when it is scheduled to land. Years ago, this wasn't truely an option, but today, there are schedules of flights available to check on arrivals. Let's hope the friend thinks to do that. We all have you in our thoughts and prayers.......you can count on us

Wow, we have so many to cheer for, all the little soccer dudes (GO GANT), football players and now volleyball.......

It is raining and so yucky today, quite depressing and also the fact it is 9/11 I couldn't watch that stuff last night, it's just too sad. I'm not tired of hearing it or anything, and I do want to remember, it's just sad to see it replayed.

flight was on schedule when i dropped son off.
it changed after i got home.
delay to to new storms that came rolling in.


well, i called AA and the plane just left chgo at 9:40.
it arrives in dallas at 12:06.

his connecting flight leaves at 12:06 also

AA said they rebooked him a flight out of dallas at 9:00 pm tonight.
that's the earlierst flight out for the entire day that is open.

i have no idea how he is going to get to the apt from gdl airport.
it will get in there around midnight and that is a very bad time for son to try to get a cab since the friends won't be able to pick him up at that time.

his flight number is different so they will be meeting a flight in the afternoon that he will not be on.

big mess.

I've got the clear version sitting on the desk in front of me...ready to pop some benedryl soon - I'm getting cranky, wearing disposable gloves so I don't contaminate anything (anyone rember the cartoon Dexter, his mother was a germ-a-phob & always wore gloves).

Mr. has been giving me the business all day, isn't it time for him to go to work yet LOL, ought to seduce him...it'd serve him right.

Made the mistake of showing him the cool tombstone...he's got to have one too, I'm waiting online to snag it & a cool cast iron mm mailbox. I'm on hold w/dis shopping too...there was a gift card offer that redeemed today, assume that's the hold up...

I didn't think poision ivy was contagious?! I thought it was just contagious when you still had the oil from the plant on you? When ds gets it i wash everything even the shoes he was wearing and have NEVER gotten it from him...
Make sure you wash all your bedding just in case the oils are on your bedding...would hate for you to keep giving it to yourself!! That would stink!


Check your email about the tombstone...i just got a email from disney saying that some of there stuff was 50% off.

I just ordered some off of QVC...i never watch that but i just happen to catch some of and wanted to try their cheek stain aka blush...so when i went to order i found more stuff that I liked...hope it works good...it will have to work maricles for me i know!!!!

ok, now i am bald..........son somewhere in a texas airport probably wandering around until 9 tonight.

i had him paged twice but no reply to it.
the hostess there at the gate has been unable to find him.

mr mac is home now and i told him about it.
no sympathy, he is back to being called sh for the day........

i left the message with AA that son should call me collect since the phones there do not take pesos..........



love to read chatty cathy/pam's postings today. sure have missed her since her computer went to the computer hospital.

This is my entire family on the Ride the Ducks! We took up a whole Duck to ourselves, but one other family did get on...the are in the very back on the right hand side. Other than that this is all my brothers, sisters, neices, nephews and mom and dad.
