I'm still here. Ah rave, hospital? Why? What's wrong?

hey jules, i am having surgery set up and have to have a cat scan so the surgeons know which method they will use on what they have to do.

I just wanted to publicly thank you for the best vacation ever. I enjoy spending time with you and your kids so much. It's really sad when you guys have to leave. But I KNOW you will all be back. So until then.....I'll miss you all...keep practicing your mini golf.....NEXT time will be different!!

hey tony, if you go to the motherland in late september, you will get to see sweets, deena and ME !.

hi all of those that wil be stopping by this morning.


do miss mr adam. he sure is busy.



going to leave the house around 8:30 this morning. have to take todd to the orthopedic doc and check him out and then have a mri done on his knee.
the first doc last week that saw him said he needs it taken care of soon.
crossing my fingers for my kid.

and then we go at 1:45 to my appt. having a cat scan done and then have to take the hard copy of it to my surgeon. the ct will determine how the surgery will be done. i am hopefully the surgery wil be through the bottom of my mouth and work back to the jaw where the blocked salivary duct is.
that would be all done inside of the mouth and throat. all stitches will be on the floor of the mouth.

the way he thinks it will go will make me a marked Supergirl for life.
if the glands are calcified, then the incision will be on the outside of my face.
cut down in front of the ear, across the left cheek to the chin and then down to the neck. removing 3 glands and all ducts. he said i can start scar revision months later after that. think it would be 6 months down the road.
that form would be in the hospital and major. so when i do the motherland, i will paint my S scar across the face and be supergirl.........lol

whatever will be will be.
i am hoping for the less invasive surgery. much less recovery time.

so, i probably won't be back until late today
once the doc has the hard copies of the ct, he will set me up in the office for an appointment to go over everything again with me

She said, "Mr Tony" I said, and mommy and Sammie. "NOOOO, just Mr. Tony." She insisted.

You can come up and hang out with us. We are about to move Sammie to Julie's room in a toddler bed. So there will be an extra room upstairs.

mac - often imitated, never duplicated , who could ever replace you? Good luck on the various medical issues for you & DS. Perhaps cosmetic surgery after the fact? They offered a scar reduction when my mom had facial surgery, but she didn't want to mess with it. Hers has faded. I don't even notice it when I look @ her - it wouldn't matter to those who luv you. I refused surgery on my neck mainly because they said they had to go in thru the front & I'd look like a mobster tried to slit my neck. If I ever have to go thru with it, think I'll get a tatoo to cover it up...of Disney charactars.

Sounds like Tony could open a combo daycare center/jr. golf school

No Soprano's spoilers please - since DH worked OT & is on 4-12 this week, I'm going to wait until the weekend to watch it w/him (if that isn't true love I don't know what is).

Good luck today Mac, sorry I missed you though, I actually had some work to do when I got in.. Wishing Todd the best of luck too. SUre hoping the surgery is the lesser of the two for you...fingers, toes and eyes crossed right now.

Nope, no co-worker today...week #5. I honestly would have been MORE surprised if I saw her today than to not see her. I don't know WTH they are waiting for. Tell her to show up or ship out. Honestly, they have been more than fair in my book. I don't think it is medical, (well maybe a headcase) so she needs to say yes I'm back or no I'm not. My supervisor had to leave for an emergency visit to the dentist. Without any of the other girls here, (our other new girl is out today also, but that was pre-planned), I have no one to cover for me on the phones unless I ask one of the salesmen. If I have to use the restroom, (good thing my legs are crossed for mac) one of them will be watching the phone for me. No one thinks about me cause as I've been told "you are so dependable, we never worry about you not being here"..so here I sit, all by my lonesome. Oh well, let's me chat with you guys unhindered .

It is wonderful to hear from TVT that he had an awesome time too with Nico and Momma. Having fun is where it's at! I can see by pictures that are posted of everyone's kids that they all are great! and so cute.

I didn't make it all the way through Footballer's Wives, it was 1.5 hr. last night, but what I saw pretty spicey and a good start to the season.

Jules, we had a rainy weekend in Baltimore, but it was SO fun. We got lots of time to sit and chat, we ate some good food and did some of the sites at the Inner Harbor. You should have let us know you could have come! So, are you still at home? You said you are starting school, and may be getting help with your tuition, which is awesome! Fill us in, I'm thrilled for you! Good luck
