Julie's recital was very cute last night. The costumes were incredibly ugly. I have a picture of her in her ballet uniform, I like that much better.

sweetlovin - always wanted to dress one of my kids up in a tu-tu...but my boys wouldn't go for it.

DS's team won opening game last night. Strangest thing though, (supposed professional) umpire sent him to 1st base on a walk...then called him back to the plate. Even though the count was loaded & pitcher threw a ball, he had to bat again. Ump's explanation was that his "clicker" didn't support it . Of course, DS was spooked & struck out @ that point. Where's the instant replay when you need it?

Another odd play...baserunner on 1st tripped & fell onto the ball (effectively putting it out of play) on an infield grounder running to 2nd but, was deemed safe & waived on to 2nd.

we pulled off 2 wins last night. who'd ever thought the Mets would have one of the best records so far?... but it's still early

I will talk very softly so mac's headache goes away...and I have one myself...ssshhh I've taken my dope x3 so mine should go away.

KS, those are weird calls to be sure, but ya never know with that stuff which way the ump will lean...it's nice when it is in your team's favor though..

MC, glad to have your "shouldar" to lean on this morning....I knew as soon as what I said was out of my mouth it was a mistake to have said it, and it turned around to bite me in the butt, but I admitted I was wrong for telling her what I did and she will be getting the cold shouldar from me just as your co-worker is getting from you.......I'll work fine with her, but I'm done being a cheerleader for her to pursue a raise and this gal has TONS of personal life issues; I try and be supportive of her cause she is downed all the time from her husband, but NO MORE....guess you have to be out for yourself and not try and be nice to others, they just step on you for being nice
