KS....from my understanding, Rome WILL be back on HBO's schedule...I'm thinking it was on last fall, so perhaps this fall?? Excellent show. Deadwood is a little on the salty side, but it makes Al so endearing.. I counted one time all the "bombs" dropped within a 5 minute period...let's say it was more than one could count on ten fingers.. and I always thought the Soprano's was heavy on the cussing. I like Bullock on Deadwood...

Another beautiful morning

Saw the video feed from the L.A. parade...I've got to be missing something here (?). I'm 2nd generation off the boat. Most of the immigrant familes insisted that their children NOT speak the native tongue @ home in an attempt to "fit in" better & have more opportunites in an unfortuantely biased society. You do what you've got to do to survive & prosper...stepping off of soap box now.

same thing here, second off the boat. the dad born in usa, left luxembourg and the family started over here.
we could not speak anything but english in our home.
no german food allowed in our house growing up.
gfather had to learn english once he arrived thru ellis island.

We aren't really doing anything special as he has baseball practice tonight. So we are going to take him and a few of his friends out to eat. It is a bad time of year for him to have a b-day...he is always so dang busy that it is hard to fit in a party for him.

this day has sped by, we have been pretty busy. Now the lawn guys are out there supposedly cutting grass but just throwing dust all over the place...my van looks like a dustball.......

Today has flown by and didn't get as much as I wanted to accomplished oh well, there is always tomorrow...thinking about going out and planting the flowers I bought when I take the kids out in the back yard....need to get them in the ground before it is to late. I hope they grow for me as I can NEVER get anything to grow...just call me miss brown thumb!

off to get aubrey ready for dance.....she is about to start practicing for her dress recital so it is important that they don't miss now.
