Mac - Are you working today? Are the demonstrations over?

KS - Did you celebrate may Day with your family?

Mic - Did you ever pu thte 33yo guy in his place?

Deena - Are we going to any of the Girls only meals on the Dis Trip?

Adam - Has work let up on you any? It's a bummer that you actaully have to work at your job, but I guess it's better than not having a job at all right?

I leave for Disney in 11 days. I know it's not single digits like BOB, but hey, it's getting there. :cheer2:

My feet are tired from that pole dance last night

Saw the video feed from the L.A. parade...I've got to be missing something here (?). I'm 2nd generation off the boat. Most of the immigrant familes insisted that their children NOT speak the native tongue @ home in an attempt to "fit in" better & have more opportunites in an unfortuantely biased society. You do what you've got to do to survive & prosper...stepping off of soap box now.

mac - don't give away what happened on 24, I taped it for tonight (too busy with my pole).

sweetlovin's turning into a regular mogul.

Got the **** scared out of me this morning. Went to heat up something in microwave & it started to flash light wildly & smoke. Might have something to do with the water that poured onto it from the bathroom fiasco 2 weeks ago.:rolleyes1 Of course DH is chirping his "I told you so" mantra. Hate buying appliances, even small ones...always think I'm overspending. Wonder if Loews sells them?

Still waiting for that concert report!

A picture of the day would be nice too.:thumbsup2

Morning all :) :)

Single dad life going fine so far. Got Cam to his Tae Kwon Do class (his first one with the big kids -- and he did great :thumbsup2 ) and got everyone ready for bed early last night. :thumbsup2

We think Ryan caught a touch of rotavirus :guilty: but after this morning's diaper, I think maybe he's out of the woods. We'll see how school goes for him today. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Good Morning everyone.

KS was Pole dancing last night :cool1:

MuffyKat, DH's are interchangable.

Good morning peeps...

First off, no sickies allowed, so little Ryan, get better, no more stinky diapers for dear dad...he is flying on his own this week, so you need to be super de dooper good little boy..feel better little one

So let's see, mac wants momma to "do" her man? now that is an idea...do we have a sign up sheet, just call her or what? ;) :rotfl:

I see where Boston is really yucky weather today...BUT WHO THE HECK CARES....WE BEAT THE YANKEES LAST NIGHT..I knew Papi was gonna do it last night, I just had said to dh, Papi is gonna come through......... :cool1: What a great story about Mirabelli, sorta like something out of Superman, changing clothes in limo and making it just in time to the game...glad he is back...

Blah, blah, blah, yadda, yadda, yadda...just talking to Pam, she seems to understand that language best.. :p Just kidding, you will have an opportunity to rag on Ed and I real soon I'm sure....that is what is great about baseball, ya never know how it will go. Only 2 weeks til we go to Baltimore to see the Sox beat...I mean play the O's...

Mac, enjoy your day of nothingness, they are always fun

KS...sorry about your microwave. Mine just bit the dust too, it was like 3 yrs. old :sad2: ...we got it as a gift from a points program at dh's work...well, it crapped out, and we still had the old 25 yr. old microwave sitting in the basement (don't ask, it takes forever for us to ditch junk), so we brought it upstairs and I'm using it. I want a new one, but we just bought 2 air conditioners so I need to space out the spending. The old Betsy gets the job done, its just small and isn't a high wattage oven, but it works. I just am amazed something that old still runs, and something that is virtually new died.

TVT was tied to a computer? The injustice of it all...I say get him a lawyer, get him into counseling...GET THE MAN SOME HELP ..

Adam must still be snowed under.........we miss you!

KS, did you watch Soprano's the other night? Seems to me each week is leading up to some sort of BIG blow up for everyone...AJ is certainly everyone's dream child isn't he?????? :rolleyes2 and Tony having a moment of fidelity....now that was a switch

micky4ver - yep, jr.'s a real keeper:rolleyes: . Wonder how long Tony will keep his shirt buttoned. Poor DH had a brokeback trauma when the boys were riding their Hogs in the beautiful countryside. He took a trip to the powder room & missed the part by the lake...but, he doesn't seem to mind watching tv when girls get overly friendly w/each other.:rolleyes1

I gave my last/old microwave away. Paid big bucks for this dearly departed one. Don't think water damage is covered under the warranty. Think I'll look for a cheapie that is expendible.

We need new room AC units too...everything seems to go @ once.LOL

Hope all the sickies feel better soon!

Morning all!

Just got Aubrey out the door for pre-school! Now I have tons of stuff to do today...they are coming to start on our deck either wed. or thurs....the thing is, our door we finally decided on won't be here for 3-5 weeks as we had to special order it :guilty: I'm still going to have to go all the way around my house or down the basement to enjoy my back yard :confused3

We had a mumps scare at my house...seems a boy the comes after school is ill and they were very concerned about it...come to find out it wasn't the mumps...it was strep throat. Thank god.....i don't want that crap here!! There has been one confirmed case in my county and it just so happens to be one of dave's friends :guilty:

Oh and did I mention that Trent is 11 years old today?!  oh my, i feel so dang old!!!!

I got a break from the baby already! She is going to be off today and then her scheduled day off tomorrow! So hopefully i will get the stuff i need to get done done today!

I forgot on my last post HAPPY BIRTHDAY TRENT... hope it is a memorable 11th birthday for you.... :cool1: Any special festivities for the big day? I bet you are excited about your deck, that is cool...maybe your door will come in sooner, sometimes things like that happen...although in my house, it's usually the opposite and it takes longer...... :sad2: let's hope for a speedy delivery. Sorry you have sickies too....be gone...all the sickies hitting our little loves.

Momma, I forgot also, the guy got over his 'tude. I actually asked him if we could make up, and he told me he was sorry...it was a half-arsed (ok, sometimes we can type smartass, but can't just type aaass?) sorry, but at least he knew he hurt my feelings. He is all smiles the past few days...he'll get another stressful day and go off the deep end again...seems about once a month it happens. I will just steer clear and not give him an opportunity to take it out on me....I will hit the ignore button.

I so agree KS about appliances. I just broke down and bought a new dryer, and got one way more expensive than any I've ever had (figured after all these years I deserved something I wanted) and then all the other little appliances start going bonkers........murphy's law at it's best.

I have to say I found the whole Brokeback Soprano's moment kinda yicky myself....I guess you could really call it riding the Hogs.......... :lmao: got himself some spiffy motorcyle wheels didn't he....it is just a weird storyline.....but that is what Soprano's has always been. Don't know if you are a Deadwood fan, but it starts up again in June.. I also taped the Elizabeth I mini-series, have watched a bit of it, but not all, it seems very good.

party: Happy Birthday to Trent! Cool name:thumbsup2

micky4ver - DH likes Deadwood, it burns my ears LOL. I've been know to swear like a sailor but, the language on the show:faint: learned new ways to express myself. I wish they'd do a Rome - Part II, really liked that mini-series. DH was salivating over the bike in the parking lot, glad he cut out for other scene. Think he's having a mid-life crisis, drug me to a HD dealer to price them out. Told him he better get a big piggy bank & start saving. I've bought new cars for less than a used HD...and my caddy's on it's last legs.
