Well, the sleepover wasnt actaully a sleepover. The invite said 6:30-8:30 and dont forget your sleeping bags. But, the plan was to do a camping theme in their backyard and pick the kids up at 8:30pm, the same night. Glad I clarified that one. :lmao:

So, no sleepovers yet, which is fine with me because to be quite honest, I wasnt really ready for that.

well ed, i told them to take the laptop (pam has one) and the digital camera (which mic has one) but noooooooo, does anyone listen to me???

maybe adam will save the day and bring both.

gee, you would think just out of curiosity that they would sneak a peak over to our thread and read..........

if you are:

hey homies, check in here now...... :teeth:

Maybe it was Pam and Mic on Miss America last night. They really didnt go to Balitmore, they went to go do the show.

:wave2: I forget the pagent was on last night, caught the finalists...

one of our "people" (as in blonde) won!

Missed the Kentucky Derby this afternoon too...I am slipping. DS has a sleep-over. They kept giggling throughout the night. I'll sleep good tonight, feel like I've got a hang-over.

mac - did you get any phone calls from disbelieving parents yet (my child would never cheat!LOL).

The intrepid travelers are having a lost weekend, hope they're having a blast.

no calls yet keisha, but the week is still young

who is the mysterious tester. tester. tester. tester.

you know, it only has to be said once................

hey, maybe the girls are bombed now and that is why they haven't posted

it is sunday and i think pam is flying out early this morning.

but did any of them post a pic........no..............

did any of them come on to give a wave.......no.............

i bet they are in a hurry to come home and see us homies........ :teeth:

my son ordered me a new keyboard. this one has sticky keys and i mispell words when the key skips. o is one of the skippers. i have to hold that baby down to make it click..........t is another one of those buggers.

Morning everyone

Safe travels for those who have are traveling back home today.

Mac - we have to cut the travelers a little slack. They were having a great time and I'm sure they got caught up playing. No biggie. They will be on here later to tell us how much fun it all was.

I had sticky keys for a long time too. I think it was the A button.

Keisha - I can't wait until my kids are old enought o have slumber parties. Those are so much fun.

sweets, and slumber parties are kewl when you are older too....... :teeth:

i'm just funning the ones on the meet. no harm meant.

pam is on the plane at this point and probably close to landing.

think she took an early plane, just before 7 this morning.
she'll gain an hour coming back.

i bet mic is home right now and in bed snoozing.........

i don't know about bwi, but chgo airports require an early check in which varies with the airlines. mine has a 2 hour prior check in period.
if pam has that, i bet she feel asleep once she got on the plane.

i wonder if pam is the grouchy type if she doesn't get enough sleep???

by the way, you are all covered again for the week.

i'll be heading out for sunday school and church later this morning

of course with easter behind us, no crowds at church will happen today.

i'll sit in the back row today :teeth:

Technology gives me a headache:badpc:

Every time I think I know what I'm doing on new computer, one of my DS's tweaks it &....all my emails disappear!:furious: Of course, no one will admit it. Convinced it's that stupid AOL IM.

DH has to work this afternoon but, still started ripping out the tub surround. Unfortantely the walls decided to partially come down with it. Hours of hammering later & we're down to the studs. Guess we'll be heading out to Lowes tomorrow for wallboard & caulk & new plumbing & new wiring LOL. If cast iron tub wasn't so heavy, I'd have him yank it too.

Skipped mass today, sure the Lord will understand; glad you got us covered mac.

so keisha what you are saying is the flood is gone out of your house???

the aol im is harmless, even i the idiot can do that one.

but if i try to tell you how to do it, we both are in trouble.
i just had the son fix it up for me....... :teeth:

Thanks for covering for me Mac.

Keshia sorry to hear that your walls are coming down around you. What a bummer. I hope you have another bathtub in your house that you can use until your DH can fix that one.

Mac - I stand corrected. You are absolutely right. Adult slumber parties can be wicked fun too!! :teeth:

The flood came & went - hooray. We've been drying out the last couple of days; it's been worse. At least the ceiling wasn't a loss this time. It's our only bathtub but, we've got a (un-opened) pool & a garden hose:banana: .

I think AOL keeps hijacking my browser & email program. Had to download the new version when we re-installed & it's a pain. Switched email from yahoo to outlook express in an attempt to correct...something to keep me occupied.

i think we should have an adult slumber party

and then we will put goldfish in keisha's tub since it is full of water anywho

i think mic, pam, adam and mrs adam are taking naps..............

i hope they don't make us wait until monday to tell us all about the meet.

i tried to be there but went one week too early.
and with an 11 hour drive, maybe more , it just couldn't happen for me.

once i get there, then i still got to come back home........

Hello Everyone

I'm home and I know that Pam is back in Nebrasky....I dropped her at the airport at 6 a.m. :crazy2: this morning and I headed back home. I gave her a chance to get thru security and me on the road and phoned her at the airport, she was fine. She then called me once she was back in Kansas and in her car heading home. Not sure what time Adam and the Mrs. were going to head back to Jersey. They planned on sleeping in this morning, and not hurrying to get on the road. It was too much backtracking for me to go back there after I took Pam to the airport, so I just trucked on home. I was home around 7 and promptly went back to bed.. :) as I had to run some errands today.

We had a FANTASTIC time, only thing was the rain...we rather looked like drowned rats most of the day, but we had fun. Pam got in on time Friday and she and I left the airport and fought the traffic to get to the hotel. We just hung out and then went to have dinner and had a drink in the lounge. We spent the rest of the evening in the room just gabbing.

We met up at the Inner Harbor on Saturday morning with Adam and the Mrs. We did some touristy stuff, had lunch, shopped, went to a micro-brewery and had a beer, did our Duck tour (which was really fun and informative), shopped some more and then had dinner. By then, it was evening and really pouring rain by then, so we headed back to the hotel. We all were tired anyway at that point.

I had an awesome time, loved formally meeting our buddies and enjoyed the whole thing. Everyone is just as great in person as they are on the thread. Adam and the Mrs. are so nice and were so much fun. I loved chatting with them. Pam was an almost awesome roommate.....she can tell you about her t-shirt she wore............all in fun, she was wonderful! Loved our time together. Oh, our hotel was nice, the room was big and very nicely appointed. It was a good choice. They shuttled us over to the Inner Harbor and back and that was great.

I will let the others fill you in on their take of the weekend, but I think everyone agrees it was fun. We have something in the works for another meet perhaps next spring!! It is an awesome plan and we hope more will join us. It is just a thought for now, but it would be a blast. We also thought it would be nice to bring along our spouses if we felt like it. Ed, we are sorry you couldn't come down, but I understand you were getting laid (as in carpet :p ), so I totally understand.

Need to go veg again, I'm whipped, it was a whirlwind from the instant I left work on Friday. Traffic was a bear...I deserve a metal for driving in that insaneness............this morning was a breeze driving home. As far as getting to the hotel and back to BWI, thank goodness for mapquest, it did a good job getting us from A to B.....

Sorry it went so quick, it was over in the blink of an eye, but I enjoyed the whole time!! I was sad to tell everyone good-bye....and as awful as I looked from running around in the rain, I better not see a picture posted on here :teeth: and you had to pay for the computer at the hotel lobby, so we didn't bother and we were so busy anyway....no time to drop by here.

:wave2:

It sounds like you guys had such a great time! I'm glad you could enjoy yourselves. Hopefully, more of us can get there next year, with whatever the plan is. Im guessing Disney or Vegas. LOL!

Anyway, glad to hear from you and good to know that Pam is back and safe. :thumbsup2
