Beach...I dont care for sand but an occasional trip to the beach can be fun. My friend rented a beach house last year and we took the kids down for day and they loved it.
As to when you leave just say time for me to go. Be firm. They can smell weakness! LOL

Ooooh, the beach worth suffering thru family anytime, as long as there's a pool between my hotel & the actual beach (that sand's mighty itchy).

I was surprised to enjoy cruising. Gives me a chance to relax. No decisions to be made & pesky family @ home can't reach me between ports with their incessent bickering that they think I need to hear/problem solve. Told them from now on during vacations, unless they die, I will only take make/calls during morning phone time (1 hour)...ala my DS's pediatrician. May be blonde but, I can be educated.
Congrats mickey4ver . You were a CM too!!!! I wanna be a CM when I grow up or retire (whichever comes 1st).

Mac - do you set off the alarm @ the airport? Between DH's, when out trolling, the funest folk to sit next to @ a bar are the gay guys. Witty, charming, they always smelled good & great dance partners. Usually could drink like fishes too.

Blonde moment coming on...can I assume bunco is a card game involving money?

KS, yes, Deena is our Bunco queen........I'd never heard of it til she said she and her friends play.......then I actually saw something about it around here in the paper...and then on TV was a Bunco Championship or something... I still imagine Deena running around her house yellling....

Yes, I was a CM...worked for TDS for 9.5 yrs....our beloved stores were sold to Hoops which put a stitch in my side, then they decided to close my store out of the blue, so it was sad for a time, but I got over it......I enjoyed my time and got to do a lot of things at WDW and DL that I might never have had the $$ for, so I can't complain....yes, I'd like to work at WDW someday too

No mac, I won't be fixing his lunch...he will fix his own, go see his mother or go visit his aunt...they will feed the poor boy..........

Well, I ran my errands tonight and now I'm beat...so I'm off to watch some TV, might be back a little later to check in............thanks again everyone, you all are awesome friends!!!

i've missed it terribly!!! I hate not being at the gym for two hours. And they were really the only people I talked besides a few friends from the kids schools.

I hope I get to start next week. I would feel so much better.


So, did your boys ever try to stick magnets to your shoulder? I could see them doing that...No worries, i wont give them any ideas.

i am still not certain if curves is for me.
i will have to hang in there for the one year, after that i will check out other places.
the one well, main reason i went to curves is because it is only 4 blocks from my house. it makes it easier to go and not come up with an excuse to stay home.

Bunco is played with 12 ppl (4 at 3 table) the person across from you is your partner. As each game ends teams rotate tables. The head table plays to 21 and the other table the winner is determined by who had the most points. Our points are as following:
1 point for every 6 you roll.
5 points for rolling 3 of a kind
a bunco is 3 6's and its an automatic win for your team.

Thats kind of it in a nutshell.

4greatboys - As my card-playing buddies would say..."if you can't call it, you don't own it". My all time faux-pas in cards was proclaiming I had 2 pair...2 pair of Queens, separated by an ace. Note to self: don't drink & play cards for money @ same time. Bunco sounds like a dice game an oriental acquaintance plays every week (but the buy in is $100!).

mac - DH used to work w/a guy who carried papers...they proclaimed him "sane". He was sick of getting hauled off to the hospital for random psyche evaluations. You know you're crazy if you have to carry documentation that you're not!

micky4ver - the Disney stores in our area were bought by Children's Place. They shut down all but 2 and have a very limited selection of merchandise. At least they still sell Disney dollars.

Did you hear about the free dining promo @ WDW, middle of Aug thru Sept.? Of course, not the discounts I've been patiently waiting for...
