Tomorrow we have Noah's first soccer game of the season,

Cameron's first soccer game of the spring is tomorrow morning too :thumbsup2

I'll be hoping for a rain-out next week, so I don't miss that game (I'm coach). Just in case, I have another parent ready to sub for me as coach. :)

Oh that's right, I remember you saying that you have to be on meds for that long...guess i was just thinking about your surgery!

How fun!! coaching...i don't really know much about soccer to be an effective coach so i sit back and let someone else do that. I did say I would coach Aubrey's t-ball if they didn't have enough coaches.... i don't really want to be a "coach" just because if 2 of my kids play at the same time i can walk back and forth and watch both as the fields are right next to each other!

They are trying to talk us into joining the jaycees here...i told her i would think about it. To me that is just one more night of running around!! They do some great stuff for the city though!!

Good Morning everyone.

Who asking the babysitter for a date. :confused3

Ed's holding out I think....waiting for us to beg........ :goodvibes he gets joy outta woman begging him......... :love2:

Funny story you made me think of Bob about soccer...when we went to watch our then 4 yr. old grandson, they really are just scurrying around back and forth...and this one kid on the team who obviously cries about everything...was the goalie, and a little one from the opposing team made a goal, and the cryer starts crying..."you aren't supposed to do that"...and stomps off the field...crying of course...it was kinda funny

Pam, I'm hoping for a quiet Sunday....I have done nothing in my house for a few weeks... :sad2: that is why I'm heading into town tonight right from work, I need to pick up my contacts and return a couple things and stop at the damn grocery store...I wish people in my house would quit eating it as soon as I buy it..... then tomorrow I have a TW thing to do for a gal having an open house for several different home party type things, and then we are supposed to go across the street to our neighbors who are having a "kitchen warming" for their remodeled kitchen....whew...I'm wore out thinking of it all....I'll be fighting the Friday night goer-outers tonight everywhere I go...... :rolleyes2

you all say such wonderful things today.

i just want a date like bob 's wife is getting.

and put me on that beach of ed's..........woo hoo

Hey, it's not this perverted daddy you have to worry about (she's practically like a daughter to us -- and she's Ryan's godmother).

Daddy's perverted friends, on the other hand... :rolleyes1

Speaking of the beach, the 6-13th of Aug my mom booked a house for my aunt, cousin, cousin in law (with her 3mo baby), my kids, her, and me. (is that the right grammer, or shoudl it be she and I?)

Anyway, I know, I shouldnt, complain, It's a free week at the beach. HOWEVER..that is like someone giving me $100 to Mcdonalds. I HATE the beach.

I do like the people going however. Well, everyone except my stepfather. Dh wasnt invited, so that makes life easier.

OK, so, not only do I inform my mom several times how much I hate the beach, I also asked her how far it was from my house. The answer was, "Im not sure, but it can't be more than 5 hours away."

It's 9 hours away!!!

Monday Aug 14 Nico starts school. So, I told my mom that I was going to have to leave Thursday afternoon, drive half way, and get back on Friday to get Nico and I ready for Monday. My mom caught an attitude with me. GGGRRRR!!!

I love my mom, and I love the people (for the most part) who are going with me. But, damn, I don't force her to go to disney with me. I shouldn't be forced to go to the beach with her.

Who said the cute babysitter's a girl? Just kidding!:)

Equal rights you know (yes, my DS's did babysit off & on);) , youngest wants to start & take red cross certification. Maybe I'll just give him a few chores & up the allowance. Anything's easier that the paper route I made him quit after a year.

Booked my cruise for November 2007 :woohoo: The first date we had open for the "cheapie fares". Heck, who am I kidding...probably will cancel long before then for one to-be-designated family obligation that will crop up...but, I can still dreampixiedust: .

I have a story about that. One time I was 19 and babysitting for a mom and dad. Well, they came home wicked drunk. So the dad walked me out (this was when I was in college) and tried to kiss me.

He smelled of beer first of all, and second of all, he was married to a woman that was puking in the bathroom up in their apartment and obviously needed help.

It was the last time I babysat for them!

this is a hard one to call ocm.....

a week away from hubby or living inside the house at the beach......

either way, it's a tough call to make.

if you go to the beach your littles will want to be in the water and on the beach...............

i'd go to the hilton and swim in the pool....

9 hours is a long haul.
that will be stressful rushing back to get nico ready for school.

Oh it's not a choice, my mom and aunt have both explained that it isnt an option for me. I'm going. I just really don't think they are going to let me leave on Thursday. I think that they are going to make me wait until Friday afternoon.

See, that is what I am talking about!!! :teeth:

No, I plan to let her babysit, but I plan to be picky who she babysits for! That is one benefit of living in a small town...you know ALOT of people!!!

Ocm--I would go to the beach...you might just have more fun than you think! I bet your kids will love it!! When ever we go to the beach my kids LOVE it there! I can take it or leave it though...but i still take them there...just think of the memories you can give them!! I don't blame you for wanting to come back early though...i would do the same! It is good to get Nico rested up before he starts school.

KS, that is awsome that you booked your cruise!!!!  Hopefully nothing will come up for you that you need to cancel! We plan to go on a cruise......someday!! It is not in our cards right now though. I am trying to talk my brothers, sisters, their kids, and my mom and dad to going...i have two tight wads for sisters though and they say it cost to much! :rolleyes2

Nobody (even family) should be able to tell you where you have to go and when you have to leave. :)

Thanks Bob. Can you come tell my family that for me?
