And this is why I love my DW. Because the 6 of us dirty enough in a day that she has to do 2-3 loads each and every day.......and never complaines to me about it. Once in awhile, I get the extra surprise of finding the dryer sheet in my shirt or pants!!! We have a good laugh over that. She also gets to keep anything found in the pockets so I make sure to forget to empty them once in awhile. Talk to you all later.

that is so thoughtful of you adam, the only thing that gets left in the pockets that i wash are ink pens, and kleenex's!!!
I remember when we were all at home,( there were 7 in my family) my mom did several loads a day...needless to say, she does not feel sorry for me when i complain about laundry!!
I have taught my kids how to throw the clothes from the washer to the dryer though...any help is very much appreciated!

Speaking of kids, it is noah's 8th birthday today!!! He gets to pick where he wants to eat tonight.....guess we are eating Subway he wants a a foot long!!

Bob - very cool about watching your baby take their first steps. I was soo excitedc when Sammie started walking. It is as cool with the 3rd/2nd as it is with the first one.

Adam - I love that theory. If Dh kept money in his pockets..i'd be set. But, all I get from his pockets are reciepts. I have a lot of laundry too. And the thing about it is..it's a losing battle. Just when you conquer it all..they hit you with another two piles.

Ed - that is a wicked awesome weather device!!

KS - I don't understand kids that do the work and dont turn it in...that is insane. I never did the work, so not turning it in just came naturally. But, to do the work and not turn it in is crazy.

A quick good evening....welcome back Momma, how was your long weekend? Hope it was fun...

I'm off to lay down with my doggie, he isn't feeling to snuffy right now...he wasn't even happy to see me when I stopped to pick him up at the vet's... He has no spunk at all tonight....I gave him one of his pain pills (hey Bob, ask for them when you go for your surgery, they are flavored and chewable ) and coupled with still being loopy from the anesthesia, he is a pitiful pooch this evening...I didn't even think he would follow me upstairs, but he did, which is a little bit of a good sign...poor little fella


Thanks for thinking of my Mom....I had a nice phone chat with her earlier...she is 79 years old today!!!! Her health leaves something to be desired, but she's still kicking

Mic - my weekend was way too fun and much needed. Thanks for asking.

It's tuesday. I came back with a terrible cold, but nothing some medicine won't fix. Maybe this will be a good thing. I can lose some weight being sick too!

I'm one of those outgoing Leo-type's (August 9th)...prefer to forget what decade. Funny, everyone in my family's birthday is from late May to early August. No wonder I'm always broke in the summer.

Oldest DS called on way home from work...he needs a hearty breakfast (thought that's what Denny's was for?). Off to fire up the skillet - again, today.
