Mic - thanks. DH was very much against the dress, so much so that I almost bought two in two different colors. He claims that if I bend over it, I'll fall out of it. Well, that may jsut be the case, but I still claim it would be cute on me.


Mac and mic - thank you both so much for the bday cards. I love them both. Mac, I didnt open the one for next year..I put it in my drawer for next year.

Its raining here..YUCK! Im glad we arent getting snow. Im not a fan of it.

it was very windy and snowy here earlier but seemed to stop snowing...just cold out now...i didn't even know we were suppose to get this kind of weather. I just hope it is nice out for this next coming weekend...if it is my mom is keeping the kids while dave is on his bowling trip so i can go out with some of my friends...if it is yucky she said she isn't going to watch them because it requires driving....i am keeping my fingers crossed....i need a night out!

now that is a scary thought for you in Atlanta!!

It has stopped here and the sun is now out...it was one of those beautiful snows that lays on the wires and trees and looks so pretty...guess it was about 8 or 9 inches....if the sun comes out, won't be long it will be a thing of the past on the roads...........no snow day tomorrow that I foresee....

I'm watching TV today for sure...started out doing that when my little grandson called me to thank us for his Valentine we sent him....so that was about an hour or so catching up with the family doings in 80 degree Phoenix!!! I did manage to do up the dishes while chatting, so see, I can multi-task

DH is shoveling so he will be a grumble bum when he comes in.......he did tell me they made shovels that fit my hands.... umm...don't think so...I'm still in this mode

I could count on my fingers how many times I've shoveled over the years....it is just dh's job...........always has been........just like some of the "in the house" jobs are just mine, and always have been....we are kinda an old-fashioned couple I guess.......but I don't have to shovel, so its GOOD...

I'm sure the snow messed up lots of travel plans...seems New England is getting a bigger dumping then we did, although we got a nice amount, not a blizzard by any means, just a good amount of snowfall.............seems to be over now, a few stray flakes falling and blowing around....the sun was out for a bit but has sorta retreated..

Still have a load of stuff in the dryer to get out and fold/put away...socks and underwear.............. I hate matching socks..........

Just thought i would stop by quick to see what was up..now that i have i need to hit the road again...trent has his try outs and then a basketball game.

All of our snow that we got is now gone and not a trace of it...now i just wish the cold wind would go away!

I know you won't get much snow, but I bet in GA you at least get stiff winds blowing once in awhile...............
