Brief -- my wife had to head to work a few minutes after we got home. She was at work that night until 1am. Cameron was when he saw me at the airport too (Ryan too, but Cameron can express it a little easier right now )

i took off work to hlep out a lady from church today. she had surgery and needed a ride home from the hospitol this morning. i just called her to ask if i should come now. she tells me that she plans to stay another day, she loves the food and attention they give her. soooooooo mad now.
i blew off a day of work...........i work tomorrow so if she still needs me, she will have to wait until 4pm for the ride.


i don't get how inconsiderate some people can be. she's a retired widow and has all the time in the world. i think i will have her call the church and see who else can help her out on friday. yes, that's what i will do.

Not too sure I want to wrestle corned beef/cabbage nekkid today, might get brine-y.

Have to tackle it today, our bishop sez no special dispensation on eating meat for St. Paddy's day this year. Of course, other bishops say it's okay .

Desk @ home piling up w/tax returns to file, starting to dread doing them...time to find a new enterprise, me thinks.

We got dispensation here, but apparently it's a tradition back to the 1800's that the Cleveland diocese gives dispensation on St. Pat's Day.

Then again, I'm Sicilian, so I'll probably be heading to a fish fry at our parish instead.

Ex inlaws were sicilian but, NOT catholic - go figure. They did turn me on to tripe in tomato sauce though - good eating if you can get past the all-day cooking smell.

1999---David and I got married. YAY. The rest of the year sucked.

The boys and I are going out of town today. Driving to my aunts and spending the night then on to Dallas in the am to visit my bil/sil & kids and my cousins family. I hate the drive but we havent been there in a couple of years.
We when to the rodeo last night and saw Alan Jackson. We had great seats and Matthews girlfriend went with us, She seems to be a pretty sweet girl--and very chatty, lol.

Aside from conceiving DS in '99, the rest of the year was uneventful.

It was the big year of the Y2K computer blow-out.. on NY Eve

Not much happening today.....I have to read the Employee Handbook they just completed, now that the company is "growing" and sign off on it.......boring.........

I will have my corned beef tomorrow...guess I will go downwards, I eat meat on Friday's..........of course there are plenty of other things that will decide my fate beside eating meat on Friday's....
