I've been taking my DS's on vacation since they were babies. When they were young, they'd be sleeping before we hit the turnpike, @ 6:30 a.m.! Only when they got older & started fighting over the GameCube, DVD player etc., did things get hairy. For a very long time I drove an extended mini-van so I could keep a seat open between them. "Mom, he's looking @ me again!" My dad would have opened the door & told us to walk.LOL.

It doesn't matter how many times you go to Orlando but, how you spend your time when you're there That's what I keep telling myself anyway.

...and how many years is Ed & the missus celebrating today?

I think there is some confusion on this thread. Ed's Anniversary is may 28th. He was saying that the year he was married was in 1994. That would make him married for 12 years this May.

Calgon did NOT take me away today!

I have parent teacher conferences tonight...and then it is official...there is only one more quarter left till summer! That means that I will get to sleep in!

When does your kids get out of school? Here their last day is May 18th! Then i believe they start August 18th again. That will be sad...that means i will lose my help again!

my sons in college is different. one is done may 10 and the other is done may 16.

Bought my corned beef and cabbage tonight....no snakes are gonna get us for not seeing green and eating Irish food on St. Patty's Day........

Julie is out May 11th. Nico is out may 24th. Nico starts kindergarten Aug 14th this year.

I'm back from my parent teacher conf. and got the kids back from awanas. The confrence went good...noah's teacher said that it is a good thing that noah came after trent because he would be a hard act to follow!!! I have to say, i will be very sad when school is out because i LOVE noah's teacher! When Aubrey gets that age i am going to request that she have her for a teacher....that way all my kids will have the same 2nd grade teacher! She is just a very neat lady...i wish all teachers were like her!!!!!

trent did good this quarter and actually made the honor roll!!! His teacher said that he has improved a great deal!


Anyway, I am headed to watch t.v. for a few then off to bed where hopefully calgon will finally take me away!!!

I bought my kids a big snack tray (that party size ones.) It has apple slices, grapes, cheese chunks, and caramel sauce. Well, I guess nico wanted that for breakfast, no big deal. But, as I type, Samantha decided she wanted to forgo the apples, grapes, and cheese chunks and is now sticking her hand in the caramel sauce.

Who wants to come clean my child up????
