Good morning, another nice one here, supposed to be around 80..

Deck warming planter is a great idea and very, very thoughtful

Momma, glad you are feeling better, sorry you were feeling yucky...hopefully hump day will bring you around ;)

Got a pile of invoicing to get ready for mail on my desk, so I'll stop back later

KS, I know how you feel about son and future DIL...let's just say its a sign of the times.....and yes, I'm a dinosaur too :goodvibes At least if they find it isn't working, they don't have to go through with it in December

MC...it was a terrific night for SOME baseball lovers around here :cool1: But my superstitions will keep me from gloating overboard, we have 2 more games to play 'em yet........then perhaps a little gloating will do. Although 14-3 is SOMETHING to gloat about....... :cheer2:

If anyone but Katharine leaves tonight, its beyond me how people are voting. She is very pretty and she can sing, but she sure hasn't shown it the past few weeks.

TVT has been trying to get his house together. His roomie left and she took almost everything with her, even things that weren't hers. :confused3

That stinks! Next time he decides to get a roomie he will have to make sure he screws everything down!

Howdy everyone. The game last night was great. It had a little of everything with 1-2-3 innings, homers, a play at the plate where the catcher got crushed and a last second error that gave the win to Philly.

I was in a superbox on the 1st base line that had wings, sausage, cheesesteaks, hotdogs, chocolate covered pretzles, cookies, fruit, hoagies, popcorn, chips, water ice and even Cracker Jacks.....and, of course, BEER. But the very best amenity is a bathroom right inside the box. I was able to go then finish before infield practice was even over between innings.

A great time was had by all and the best part was I didn't have to pay for a thing. :thumbsup2 Philly did a real nice job with this ballpark. It was very homey and very guest friendly.

Well, I'm off to do some food shopping then meeting with one of the townsfolk who has a rather negative opinion of a new development (449 townhouses) that is up before the planning board. He brought up some interesting points at the last meeting and I wanted to hear more.

Hope you all have a great night.

okay, the school just call me and asks me if i can bring extra clothes to school for Trent...seems he was playing football at recess and ran into some mud and slipped and fell and is now COVERED!! Luckily I live in a retired neighborhood and my neighbors are home.....so, he will get some clean clothes thanks to my nice neighbor lady...if i couldn't find anyone to take him clothes he would have just had to be pig pen for the rest of the day!

Well, the two little ones are very cute. The big one is just that  This damn weight wont come off.

Pam - glad you were able to bring pig pen some clothes. Im sure he appreciated that!! :thumbsup2

Adam - that sounds like a great way to spend an evening. I was there before the new stadium was put in. Have fun at the town meeting tonight

Adam, what an awesome evening you had! Sounded like real fun...and all that food...a baseball dream come true...good game and lots of fun ballpark food.......hey, a privy nearby is always good too :goodvibes

TVT, glad you got rid of the pest...sayonara as the saying goes :wave2:

Pam, don't you love when kids do that kind of stuff??? I would always say, "don't you know better than to fall in mud"...?? Yep, you always get one of those school phone calls at least once a year about something doofy your kid has done. Glad someone helped out though, that was nice.

1/2 hr. til going home........this afternoon went by pretty quickly. I've been having to take my lunch a little earlier (I prefer later) because sicko/whacko is out all week, the new person had to leave for traffic court today and as usual, I have to do as the office manager wants, so she can answer the phones while I'm at lunch...and she asked me to go earlier. So, til whacko comes back, I'm likely screwed on my regular lunch time... :sad2:

The baseball game is on ESPN tonight and tomorrow, so I figure a loss is due...everytime the Sox are on national TV, they seem to lose..but I'm hoping for a victory... Need to get busy with dinner and cleanup so I can sit down and watch some of it......then AI is on.......bye-bye Katharine :wave2: (another high hope, I know :p )

it sucks that it was Elvis week, but she forgot the words. Bottom line, she needs to go because of that.

It's too bad becuase I liked her

Will have to catch the cliff note version of AI tonight (i like elvis:blush: ) wonder who's going?

DS has to get married...I've already booked all the honeymoon res.;) and bought 2 different dresses (eainie, meanie, minie, moe - which dress shall go?) My little boy, living in sin - gosh, what will Father Al say! They do have 2 bedrooms. At least they won't have their young-uns in the bridal party.

My brother & his fiance have 5 kids (still thinking about having a big wedding after 15 years together)...to each their own.

I moved in with my DH before we were married. I wouldnt recommend it to everyone. But that first year was HELL. He was so frustrating to live with..Im still amazed I stayed, and so is pretty much everyone that knew us. :lmao:

Anyway, my family is very Catholic and I was the FIRST to do it. So, needless to say, it was a big big deal in my family.

OH WELL

My cousins are very happy that I paved the way for them ;)

Our Momma, a trailblazer!! :thumbsup2

Ok, AI has totally ticked me off...and it was pretty crappy how they announced he was leaving...and gee, let Taylor sing on Chris's night he is leaving  I knew when Taylor sang HE wasn't going home, and when they divided the 4 of them, I had a bad feeling. Katharine can sing, but I still do not feel she should be in the final 3. I'm just bummed... :furious:

I dont know this is getting more frustrating each season. I like Katherine, and I was fine with her going to the finals, but she messed up. Why do they keep sending people through like that?

morning all

that was wrong that Chris left. my dd said the show is fixed and not watching anymore
waiting for tile guy to finally do the bathroom( it's taken over 2 months )

yanks & mets won :thumbsup2
tonights game may be rained out.

muffycat - tile guy in bathroom = plumbers crack...never had a workman yet who knew what a belt was for??? Our BR is a work in progress...along w/the rest of our house builit in late '20's.LOL By the time we get it where we want it, they'll be putting us in a home.

sweetlovin - you were ahead of your time! No one wants to think of their kids doing it.

micky4ver - not fond of Chris but, surprised he got the boot. Based on the clips I saw Kat. should have gone.

AI has to be fixed, Im so sad about Chris.

Glad the tiles finally got done MJ

KS - If I had to do it over i wouldnt have moved in, but then again, I wouldnt have married him. Hindsight is always 20/20 right.

Good morning everyone. We have a townhall meeting at work today. We do this every quarter so no big deal. But we do get a free lunch after the meeting! :cool1:

OCM, I'm right with you on that one. I was living with DW prior to getting hitched. As a matter of fact, when people ask me how many years I've been married, all I have to do is remember how old my big DS is. :rolleyes1

Hope you all have a wonderful day.
