Yes mac, we did the Red Cross thing too, I'd like to find a place to send some clothes, I have a bunch of the "bigger me" clothes that have been sitting in a bag to take to the Salvation Army....I could donate them, some are like brand new............it is all so sad.........

Hi Mic. Shore was beautiful. Had a blast. Bumming about New Orleans right now. My DD15 just asked what we can do. She wants to raise money to send. Thought of bake sales etc. I mentioned that I can set up the DJ equipment somewhere. Perhaps a local pool for a teenybopper pool party. We'll do something this weekend.

Awesome that you had a good time..........I'm glad We did New Orleans about 28 (yikes...) years ago, and it was pretty neat...it's very sad what has happened. Your daughter is a trooper and what a great idea! That is wonderful she is so thoughtful............apples don't fall far from the trees it seems..................

Morning all.

Michael has a nice birthday dinner at Texas Roadhouse. I also had his cake made with a guitar on it (From Korgers) and the lady did a great job. Once I figure out my digital (which may be never, lol) I will post a pic of it. Despite the his loss the day before I think Michael had a nice birthday. Their grandfathers funeral is Tues.
Today he starts Testmasters to help bring up his SAT score. I hope its worth it, lol.
This time next week I will be at Disney with some good friends

morning all!

I AM out of the closet today! I am in the process of getting ready and going out and getting my neice something for her bday! their party is tonight. After i do that i think i am going to run out to dave's mom and dad's with him so he can fix their computer--their modem got fried with a lighting storm here.

I think i am going to call my sister to see if we can come to her house before we go to my other sisters so i can talk her into cutting aubrey and noah's hair! that way i don't have to pay for it....it's called sister abuse!!

So i don't know how much i will be on today and tomorrow we are going to sign the kids up for sunday school and then head to lincoln for the state fair so i won't be on till the evening tomorrow night.

Afternoon friends....just NOW checking in....I got up and put the TV on to see the news, and got hooked.... ... watching "Ray" on HBO....about Ray Charles, it was good I thought...then jumped into cleaning the upstairs and now I need to get showered so dh and I can go out this afternoon...

The weather has done a turn around and it is quite nice out...still a little warm but not humid...tomorrow is supposed to be even cooler..... that will be great for the picnic we are heading to.

Deena, glad the new "man" had an excellent birthday dinner, that is nice as a family to celebrate........sorry he has sadness, but you know that old saying, what doesn't kill us makes us stronger......and think of the wonderful good times they shared....hope he is coping ok.....

looks like i missed the three girls.


finished the yard work for the lady and ended up doing some repair work for her.

what i thought would be less than an hour turned out to be three hours. but it is all done and she is happy with it.


guess i will look for some grub around this joint........bbl
