Aubrey would love that minnie I bet...she is starting to get into other colors than pink though now......she wants me to repaint her room! I told her we will see

She has been taking all of her minnies to bed with her...you can barely see her

i hear ya on that one of going back to work adam.......it just ruins the fun in life doesn't it.


thinking of not working tomorrow. have the house to myself if one son sleeps to noon.

it has been pouring down rain here off and on since 6 this morning.

Adam--11 days off?? Wow, I bet that was hard to get up this morning and pull yourself into work! Hope you are not to burried under your work and you can have time to stop in from time to time!

Ed--great pic as usual! Did you have a good new year?

mac--take the day off...you have all year to work!!

mic--have fun running those errands...i should be doing the same, but all my kids are still sleeping. They are going to have a rude awakening when they have to get up for school on Wednesday....and so am I.



The other day I noticed trent's face was extremly red and couldn't figure out why, because it looked like he was flushed. Well, my friend is a nurse for the school system and she said in Trent's school that Fifth's disease is going around....well last night before he went to bed I noticed he has a rash like redness on his arms...so i don't think i am going to go to my sisters today..that is all she needs is for her kids to get something else..they seem to always be sick! I guess it is contagious, but they don't get real sick from it...you don't even know they have it until a rash shows up is what i read about it last night!

No, fifth disease, from what i have read, is not really a huge deal...they don't get very sick with it at all.

You don't even know you have it until the rash appears, and after the rash does appear you are no longer contagious.

Morning all!

DH actually has the day off today so Im not sure what we are going to do. He needs to go shopping so I may send him off to do that.

Other than that I plan on being totally lazy til the kids start back to school. though I did spend a lot of time going through my scrapbook and then my pictures so now I have a bag filled with scrapping pics, and another of ones that need to go in albums.
I guess that is my new years resolution to try to keep my stuff in order-all of it, not just my scrapbook stuff.

Ok, I know I said a resolution was to try and be a nice person this year, but the postal service stinks!!! I can't believe they are raising prices again, when they can't even deliver stuff to people that you mail it to.....and its not like they do this for FREE....mailing stuff isn't cheap. Just like when I called about a missing package WITH a tracking #...well they don't know what happened to it or where it might be............DUH.........plus they had it HERE at our post office, and sent it someplace else. Ya know, our town is small, they could go an extra inch and try and look at the package and see if they might have a clue who it goes to........

YIKES........they burn my french fried tushy and actually I feel good about venting............

Oh sucks big time. During about a 6 month period of time they "misplaced" 5 items I mailed from there. One was just regular mail--never to be seen again, another was a priority mail package for an exchange I was doing--never seen again either, and the other 3 were comp rebates that I was smart enough to get tracking on. Once I filled out the form to track them they magically made it to their destination......Did I mention they suck?
SIL/BIL gave me a Jo Ann's gift cert so I think Im going to put it toward a tote. I need one so might at well get one cheaper using my cert. I went to the store today though and they only have them online

That does stink that they think it is okay to lose our mail, but do they ever lose our bills?!? Heck NO, I always seem to get my bills!

Deena..that is cool that you got a gc from your bil/sil! Are you going to get a tote for your scrapbook stuff? I was looking at one of my friends books that she just finished with and it looks really cool! I have thought a little bit about doing it, but i tell ya....i am not good in doing that kind of stuff...maybe someday. Maybe when I am not doing daycare anymore and I can turn the toyroom into an office...yeah, that is when I will start.
