I LOVE homemade noodles, even make them myself, but they are such a NO-NO....I didn't want to eat them.........as I've been cramming M&M's of late......

Mac, you do so know Margaret O'Brien.....ever seen the old movie "Little Woman" with June Allyson? Margaret played the sister that is so shy and gets the piano from the neighbor and dies at the end of the movie.......she was in a ton of movies in MGM's heyday.........a cute kid and boy was she one to make you cry......

eh, i never watched little women, but i did read the book.
i'll go to blockbuster this week and find a margaret obrien movie to check her out.

Yes, I'll forgive you for letting me down, I thought we were tight about "old" stuff....looks like I'm a loner on the old movie trivia/stars..........yes, you knowing Clark Gable is a biggie Do you know who he at one time was married to and she died in a plane crash?

Just finished decorating our tree it loks great , my boys think there is only one side to a tree but oh well.

Ed, that is ok if they think it has only one side, that is what makes it special, the way they decorate it, they think it looks beautiful.........and I bet it is, cause its decorated with love............glad you had a good time doing it

Hey gang!

Just got home from one of my family christmas! It was pretty fun...i got a toaster oven for my grab bag gift...i have never had one...don't even know if i would like one...but I have one now so i guess i might as well give it a try!

Looks lilke you all had a fun day decorating! I was going to check in before I left today, but it was just crazy! I forgot I didn't have anything for Trent and Noah yet so I had to go out to the store today and buy something! good thing they were pretty easy to buy for!

I think tomorrow after sunday school/church we are going to go Lincoln and finish our xmas shopping. All we have left to do is Dave's mom and dad, something from dave's mom and dad to trent and noah, and some little gifts for trent and noah to take to school for their class. Then I am officially done and won't be going to the stores again until it is time to exchange things...even then i may wait!

I think i am going to hit the hay...i still have this gosh awful cold and it is kickin' my butt!! Nothing like feeling like you have to sneeze 24/7!!! hate that feeling!!

Morning everyone!

Pam - this is the first time I dont hve a toaster oven. Mine is back in DC. It's one of the things I really miss..I mean after all my friends and family that is.

Mac - dont feel bad, I dont know who any of those people are.

Ed, my kids did that too. Well, actaully, my kids filled the bottom of the tree. I guess they reached as high as they could, but when they went to bed, I fixed it.

Mic - hve you gotten your KK gift? I swear, those NE postal people are wicked slow about getting mail to other places.

Deena - did you ever get your christmas card done? You know, I really dont think I ordered enough. Lee would kill me if I ordered more, but I think I may need to.

Adam - I forgot to tell you, your pic was sooo cute!!! Thanks for the card, it was very sweet.

Ok - what movie do you have to see at Christmas time? Or what is your favorite christmas movie and which is your favorite chrsitmas cartoon?

Miracle on 34th street (the old version) is my all time favorite christmas movie. I love Natile Wood in it. I think she is wonderful.

My favorite Christmas cartoon has to be Mickey's Christmas Carol. It's a classic and one that all of my family watches. I also love Muppets Christmas Carol, but Nico and I are the only two that watch that.

i pm' ed my SS last night and got a reply.
the person did not recieve the package yet...........i feel awful
this is horrible. i think the mean post office people that mic has to deal with transfer to my town.


believe me SS recipient, i am so sorry you did not receive package #2
if i could do it all over again, i would have sent it priority and you would have had it when you received the envelope.


still working on getting the tree out of the basement.
still thinkng about starting christmas cards to send out.



maybe next year i should start in july for doing the cards.........

todd gave me his list. it is 3 movies he wants and the top one is it 's a wonderful life in the black and white version.

of all the things he could ask for and he only wants 3 movies.
