I dont know if you can call my Freestyle a minivan but then again Im not to sure what to call it?

Does your Freestyle have the third row of seating? Our neighbors bought one a while ago (getting rid of their Excursion) and aside from the lack of sliding doors, it's very van-like (in seating, accessories, etc.)

I dont anymore. I had one for 2 years from when Evan was born til we had Connor then we got a suburban. I loved the van but the way the seatbelts were configured if I had both car seats on the second bench I would have to undo one everytime the older boys got in the back since the seatbelt came off the side of the car instead of the seat itself.
Or I could put one little in the back and I didnt like that option.

OF we are still thinking over the cruise. I think its to much $$ for 5 of us (michael wont be going). But maybe just dh and I can go (now I just need to know which of you wants to babysit the 2 rowdy little ones :teeth: ).

Yes it does the stow and go which I love, with our Town and Country I had to remove the 3rd row if I wanted the space that thing weighed a ton.

Awe I would take your babies for you! My kids love them.

Pam it was 99 or 00 when I got mine. So you may have me beat for the longest minivan owner.

That is the thing i didn't like about our dodge! Those seats were sooo heavy! I tried to get the seat back in myself once...i ended up scratching our bumper! It is easier to take out than to put back in...i did that many times....i hated it though!

Ofcourse our ford had that too...but i think it was two seperate seats...so not as heavy.

Now our venture has the flip down seats--I love that!! That seat is full of car seats right now because i have to take aubrey to school. I like the fact that i can just keep them in there all the time because there is 3 seats in the middle.....so when i go places people just look at me like i am a fertile myrtle!! :p

Hey,

4greatboys If you want to go, the call in date is this Saturday... We will all be in a chat during the morning...Have you been to the 2006 MemberCruise Thread?

:jumping2:

I visited it briefly. I know Sat is the day thats why Im trying to hurry and make up my mind :) Either way we are going in Oct. If not that week then the beginning of Oct.

Come for the first week in Oct then go for a long weekend in Dec.

Here for a quickie........post that is........ :rotfl2:

So sorry Bob about DW's grandpa....even when anticipated its still pretty hard, especially on a holiday. Seems it was the week for funerals...we attended one on Wednesday. Again, so sorry and please tell DW I'm thinking of her.

Mini-vans...well, beat this folks.....I've had this one since 1997... :flower: and we have had a mini-van since around 1988. Even though the kids are gone, I love mine, I love being up higher and not so close to the ground. So, yes, I think most of us have mini-vans or wannabees....LOL ;) Adam, you need to break that baby in and drive to WDW in January....of course that many hours in ANY vehicle with little ones is scary... :earboy2: Although I have to say the grandbabies were pretty good driving from AZ to CA in October, but that is about 7 hrs. of containment, a lot less than from your home to Florida...

Rainy, windy and warm temps here....blech...I want to go out for lunch but have not decided if I want to run between the raindrops to get to my car. Poor Pam, winter has stuck............. :cold:

Deena, bribery works well, glad son has decided to stay Texas bound for school...you will miss him, but you learn to live with it...not LIKE it....(I speak from experience) but again, live with it.

Mac, throw a book at the kids in study hall if they start acting up... :p

and I knew Nico would ace a good conference...what is not to like about that little cute dude..........good for him...I know you are proud.

I want a new life........oh, that's not the subject :earboy2: but thought I'd throw it out there.............. ;) :rotfl2:

Sounds like everyone's trips are going to be fun-filled.
