Oh mac--you poor poor thing!!! It is hard when someone move out! I still remember when my oldest brother moved out when he went to college. I was like 9 and bawled my eyes out! It is sad not seeing them everyday, but just remember they are spreading their wings. I am sure he will do fine, i am sure you raised him well!

On the other hand....atleast your other ds don't have to die his hair blonde!!!!

Well, i suppose i should go and get ready...i have to go to a pampered chef party that was scheduled off of the party that i had..i am having a very hard time getting motivated!

Mac, I won't even begin to tell you what it was like when my son left for Arizona.........and that is 2000 miles or so from here...as hard as it is, you can at least be within getting in the car distance to see your son...but I'm feelilng your pain right now.....it does get better but you still always miss them. As you all know, I cry when I see my kids and I cry when we leave. I was much better this time on departure day......and just to let you know...that says TONS that your son teared up when you left...my son does that too when we leave after a visit and that is a LOT for him to do....he is quite stoic...........so that tells me that he loves us and does miss us. At least know that I can feel your hurt right now, and know exactly how you feel. It was like someone died around here for quite awhile after my son left. I would look at something or hear something and think it was him and then promptly cry again...........but that's ok, that is what Mom's are supposed to do. Guess if we had deadbeat son's we would be more than happy to see them fly the coup...

Macrsven, PD to you. I will have to wait 18 years for that day, but I can feel it already. If he is responsible, I would let him keep the cat; more Dis time for you, AND, I don't think he realizes yet how lonenly he will get.

OK everyone, RRBB is backing up digital pictures to CD as I type....

Also, I just read that WebmasterAlwx will be doing Maintenance on the Dis starting in a couple of hours (Midnight EST Saturday Night) It will be down for 8-10 hours!!!!!

Gee, I wonder if BlockBuster has Season 1 of Love Boat...

OK, I just cleared for vacation next 10/14-10/25 for our DVC Cruise!!!!! Now If I can just get aq ressie!!!

Mac, honest to goodness, I used to think I still heard my son coming up on the front porch...it is a sound that I associate with both my boys, plus I almost can tell their car when it turns in the street...it was a long time for that feeling to pass........that was nice leaving the light on for him. Have you called him yet this morning?

Well cheepers creepers, the post count was the answer..... go ME....... It's a battle I will share with everyone here...as sometimes I get a little too long in the tooth with typing away.......but you guys are so good as listeners and have good shouldars to share with me

I hope that you find some comfort in church today mac with all that is going on at your house........I did find that throwing myself into being busy was a good therapy for me at the time............soon got over that though

It is a gorgeous day here...our little town has the biggest (which it isn't even very big anymore) Veteran's Day Parade in the state of Maryland....but I may not even go down and watch, I've seen them for over 30 years now and they are kinda boring anymore......the only nice thing is seeing family and friends and getting to yak with all of them....I've still time to see if I want to get ready and go.........

I've done my ironing (yes Pam and Momma, I still iron) and need to change the linens on the beds...and I'm putting away some Halloween stuff that I should have done last week but didn't......blech

Afternoon all!

It was a little slow movin' here this mornin'... Had a late night last night, but all is good now!

I do have to get busy today though. I have to clean the downstairs that my sons made a diasater area! It is soo awful it will probably take me all day to do! YUCK!!!!

You guys are making me laugh with all the good lookin' guys!! they are too fine!!!

mic and mac--you guys brought tears to my eyes!!! I can wait until i have to do that. Ofcourse trent is saying that when he gets older he wants to go to a college that is on a coast because he likes the ocean and since he wants to study ocean animals that he should live on the coast! Hopefully he will change his mind in the 7-8 years that he has.
