It was wicked fun. I met up with a friend down there that was on a solo trip. He was so great. My kids adore him. Very fun.
I saw the CP with him and Lee and my kids, but I really couldnt pay attention like I should, because my kids are still needy.
My kids loved the Osbourne Lights and we didnt get to the
MVMCP this year. Maybe next year.
Anyway, it was very very fun. One night, my friend, took my kids for me whiel Lee and I went to Illuminations. Very thoughtful, but I almost passed out while I was there. So, I missed it and Lee got md at me. But, the guy in the booth was wicked nice and when he saw that I was about to fall over, he ran to me and helped me to a bench. Then, he went back and got me a coke for free. Very nice guy.
The best thing abotu the trip, was the hotel we stayed in on the last night. Gaylord Palms. OMG!! Its gorgeous. We got it on Priceline for 105 per night, and I will promise you, we will be staying there again. It is beautiful there. I cant say enough abotu the place. The rooms were spacious and the bed were very comfortable. Valet parking was expensive, but other than that, it was amazing.
The first two nights we stayed at the Wyndham, which is a very nice hotel. We had a perfect veiw of Epcot and could see ever single fireworks show. It was a smaller room, clean, but nothing like the Gaylord Palms.
Anyway, Im very glad I went.
Oh, we went to LTT for lunch, becuase they have a good menu for Julie. WE get there, and they have a new childs menu for two weeks, and it was gross. No kid would eat that. I was sooo annoyed. Plus, the serivce was soooo slow.
I had a great dinning expeirience in France, but I dont think my friend liked it at all. Poor guy got sick from it. His steak was WAY under cooked, but he refused to send it back. I think he got sick from that. He did like the French Onion Soup. Lee loved his food and the kids liked theirs. So, it was a nice dinner overall.
Mama melrose was very good and the wait staff was very accomidating for Julie. So that was nice.
Lee was getting grouchier and grouchier the entire trip because my pants woudl fall down my butt when I squatted. At first he would run up and stand behind me, then he started pulling my pants up. It got old fast. So, I got him back good.
