oh come on....get in the spirit!!! you know what i bought the other day???? I bought 3 cd's with christmas music!! And then I made my whole family listen to them!!!! They thought i was looney!!

Hey ...you are not the only one already listening to Christmas music. My dh pulled all the x-mas cd's out of the box and has been listening to them for the past 2 weeks!

good afternoon all!

I tried to get on this morning to check in but my computer was to dang slow and couldn't wait for it! I had to go get my hair done and blonde no more am i! okay so i have blonde highlights but that is it!

anyway i am off now to my show--have to drive 20 mins to get there so i will be leaving shortly but wanted to check in!

ocm--sorry to hear about your date! That always stinks when you get stood up!

anyway, i will try to check in later on but have to go to my aunts thing tonight too!

oh and i am glad i am not the only looney one in this world!

went shopping today, was gone most of the day....ds treated his dear ole mom and dad to lunch and then he and his dad hit the movies and I hit the mall and spent time with my favoritie uncle...........

It was nice day, then when I got home, I dropped the package of oysters I bought for dh and they dam thing cracked and I had a mess all over the kitchen floor, so I had to end the day mopping up the floor....but guess what???? I won't have to do it tomorrow....laundry is now calling my name, so I'll drop by later...........

Just got home from my full day! We got back from my aunts 50th bday party! We left one of our vehicles 20 miles away because they were doing a dui check at the weigh station right out of our town and I didn't want to have to deal with that so I made dave ride home with me!


Oh by the way--Happy Birthday Linda!!!! Hope she had a good birthday! So ed--what did you get her??? Or can you not tell us since it is a family board?

Anyway, I am going to bed now so I will see you all in the morning! Sweet dreams everyone!

I may try to get to the mall today and see if the DS is having any sort of sale and see if they hve the christmas dresses for the girls and sweaters for the boys in. I need to get ready for St Nick day.

Not much happening here, busy around the house doing "house" stuff....blech...it is a nice sunny one here...have the front door open, warmer outside than in the house....

My todays plans got cancelled so I get to hang out at home and do things around the house. Later after dave gets home i will go out to the grocery store--blach!! It has to be done though!

My kids are testing me today! I hate it when they get like that--guess i have to whip them into shape!

no electricity for about 24 hours...........it's been a long one, and VERY cold.



winds are so bad where i am, a neighbors weeping willow tree was split by the wind this morning........a huge tree and they still aren't done with cutting the rest down.

Mac, sorry you were powerless....I was figuring you went to scrub a dub dub the new rental place with your son........but jeepers, you were home alone in the dark, cold, frigidness all by yourself........... did dh bring out the "arm-strong" heater and keep you warm?? makes for good snuggling when you are cold.............

Still pretty boring around here....forced myself to run the vacuum and just been puttering around the house, this and that.......I have a few weeks to go before pre-Christmas panic hits

Talked to my oldest today and seems they will be driving to Salt Lake for the Christmas weekend..........to pick up their NEW mini-van. Her dad buys vehicles at auction to resell, and he got them a 2005 Dodge Caravan and is selling it to them at about 1/2 of what they are NEW...........I'm so happy for them. She will love having it with the littles....they spend so much time in the car and on the road as they live so far out from everything....it will be much better than the small car they have now and safer. I'm thrilled for them. Couldn't talk to the squirts, they had spent the night at their grandma's house and weren't home yet............sorry I missed them but glad they got to have a fun time.

no, the place where son is won't work.
he's been there almost a week and is trying to find a new place pronto.
i told him i would help move him, just need a days notice to rent a truck.


yea, snow is predicted this way later in the week.

but then, weather forecasters are screwy sometimes and they don't hit the mark all the time.

Sorry things aren't gellin' for your son mac, but at least he realized it and wants to make it right....poor kid.........but you know if an experience doesn't kill us it makes us stronger.. and we usually don't make the same mistake twice.
