Pam - no I havent been approved to workout or lift anything heavy. I guess I wasnt suppose to be dancing, but we have to dance at our weddings. I am going to the doctor tomorrow night, so hopefully I can get to the gym by next week.

Sorry you didnt have anyone to talk to last night Pam. I had meet the teacher night at Evan's new preschool. He seemed to like his teacher and so did I. I volunteered to be the room mom--geeze its been years since I have been one.
Its so odd being the mom to a Senior and getting all the college stuff together then turning around to plan a party for preschoolers, lol. In 2 more years it will be exactly the same with Matthew and Connor.

Good morning....after fixing that great breakfast, our couple is going to sit and relax before heading out to the parks today........

Momma, glad you are back safe and sound and that you had a wonderful time...you are right, weddings are fun...........and the kids do always seem to congregate and enjoy themselves........

Pam, hope today goes well, and fill us in on the monster mom if she gave you any more grief...........

My grandson called me this morning to tell me he is going to his first day of school today........ It was 6:30 a.m. and he had his backpack on already...... and doesn't have to leave til 8 or so...LOL

He is very excited about it all, so I'm hoping the day goes well for him...he will go from 9 til 2...but he enjoys being with other kids and is very social, so it should be fine. In fact he is too social... that is what will get him in trouble, he wants to yak all the time............ I will call him tonight to see how his day went. It was a big mix-up involving schools etc, but it all got worked out and today is the BIG day....

Deena, I know how you feel.........I'm talking about sending the gs to school today and it seems like just yesterday I was worrying about my OWN starting K............time flies..........

AWE..I bet that is strange. Is he excited to go to school? Nico could barely contain himself this morning he was so excited. He wanted the Dash school bag from the Disney Store and he got new shoes this weekend, so he couldnt wait.

Deena - I meant to tell you, I LOVED Houston...but there is no way in HELL I could ever live in Columbus or anywhere in between. LOL! There were nothing but oil feilds and cows.

i went to the gas station very early this morning.

gas was $2.55 a gallon/regular............geeZ louise...

it was just $2.30 two days ago.

Yeah, gas here went back up to $2.35 for unleaded, it had been $2.29 for a good while.............guess the country has us where it wants us, home and not able to drive our vehicles because of the cost of everything... and Ed saying he is old enough to remember those swan boats (me too.. ), well I can remember when gas was $0.35 to $0.50 a gallon

Really and truely, I have tons to be thankful for in my life, and I AM thankful...but it is very depressing day in and day out to see the prices of everything sky rocketing and our paychecks staying the same.....it makes you wonder how much more you can take on before it becomes too hard to keep up with all the increases. Even with both family members working, it still has to be hard to keep up.....when will it end I guess is my question

deena--that's okay that i had no one to talk to--i am kinda use to that by now! I bet it is different to be almost done and starting over all in one year but atleast you have the best of both worlds!!!!

mac--it cost me $50.00 to fill up my tank yesterday and now that i went to lincoln today it is on 3/4 of a tank....doesn't take long to burn it either!

mic--that is so exciting--gs first day of school!!

I talked to my sister today and she told me that they are adding on to their house and she wants me to go help her pick out new colors for her walls she is tired of white walls! I told her she will have to come down and see my familyroom when it is done...i am going to paint it the day the kids go back to school(i hope)

looks like there will be alot of painting for me...the boys informed me (all of them) that they wanted a different color for their game room.

It seems like i never finish a project very long before i have to do another!
