uggghhhh....it is going to be a crappy day here!!! the naughtiest little boy in my daycare showed up 15 minutes early with NO warning and he is on his finest(and i say that sarcasticly) mood today!

atleast malarie will be here so i can leave for a bit.

You've been to visit your brother in Hawaii before haven't you mac? I went to Hawaii 30 some years ago and it is indeed beautiful...doubt I could afford it now. This is no tale, but we paid $639 total for airfare and 2 weeks of vacation in Hawaii and went to several islands via planes also.....W W, and that included some tours too. We stayed at nice hotels too. Heck that wouldn't even pay lodging alone now I bet. My how times have changed.

Need to get out of here today, I'm not really in the mood and I'm taking my old sweet time about it.

Glady you can relax a bit Adam....see, being a good boy and getting all your work done leaves you time to play.

yes, mic.....went to hawaii to see brother and the sites last year.

it gets boring there after you have seen the sites.......crowded with visitors from all other the world.

my brother calls it a third world country over there.........driving is a strain as many don't know how to drive..........he has been there since 1988 after he moved from thailand back to the states.

he is tired of the state and wants to move north of tampa someday.
it is an expensive place to live. the condos in his place have started to increase in value. the unit next to his just sold for $455 k...........

they had a housing slump for some years but now hawaii is a hot spot and supply and demand is back for property. his place is lovely. look out the front living room window and you can see diamond head.
his place is 1500 sq ft. , 2 bd, 2 bath in a security building. no business operations are allowed in his building. plus, he gets two parking places in the garage. parking there is at a premium.
he is a cancer survivor and the health care program is very affordable there.
the state insures anyone with serious health problems for an affordable fee.

I saw something on TV about the housing issues in Hawaii, which makes sense, it is a small place.......but that the condos they are building, have like these unreal waiting lists to even be considered for ownership, and people put their names on the list without even knowing the cost because housing is at such a premium there.

I'm still here, strongly considering just heading out for the haircut today and doing nothing else, just not in the mood......its too stinkin hot. Lots going on with hubbies work too, and everyday there is something in the newspaper which is even more depressing, I don't discuss it much as it would just make me upset, but there is a very good possibility his plant will be closed by the end of the year. Not a happy thought after giving 34 years of your life to a place. So with that said, I will change the subject.........

mic, my brother found his condo by going thru the obit column in the newspaper.

lots of folks find a place that way. when someone dies and it lists no spouse as a survivior, that means open market for a sale.
