It took nearly an hour to complete.
I'll be in work shortly where I'll have more time to myself. :rolleyes1

our time difference from the east coast is what, about 7 or 8 hrs. between England and the USA?

ok, so that makes BB at night time now and he probably works the third shift.

wait, i went to france and italy and greece, yuck, before and greece was about 6 maybe 7 hours from cst..........so the island across the pond would be about 7 from my cst......

YOO HOO.......big bear...........what time is it there?
it is 12:04 pm chicago time for me right now.

whining and complaining............what a great part of life THAT can be...................... :rotfl: :rotfl:

our gym momma better check in and let us know all is well, it is unlike her to disappear....without telling us......... :guilty:

guess Deena is hitting the pool, lucky girl............did I tell you the old school chum I contacted, has moved and has a swimming pool now...........did I time that one correctly or what.....  cause she has invited me over to lounge around the pool and drink ice-tea.. :cloud9:

mic, you are one lucky ducky...........perfect timing for your 90 degree weather.

one question: do you suntan by the pool as if it were a THURSDAY?

just to note for all:

i always eat at rose and crown at epcot on my trips.

well, I WISH I looked good enough to sunbathe like everyday was Thursday ;) :rolleyes1 .....but alas, I must live with those tan lines.....

mac, I wanted to tell you, I tried Bangers and Mash at the Rose & Crown, and I really enjoyed it.....sausage, gravy and mashed potatoes....not exactly diet food, but it was tasty and something different.

this is how I envision the perfect life............

:rotfl2:
Yup you lot are nuts. :rotfl2:

Its 1800 or 6pm

I work from 2030 to 0600 on the Railway.
As for the holiday I've done it all back to front.
1,Bought it.
2.Started looking at the forums......jeez you'd think I was an American. :love2:

The only time I dont get to browse the net is when things go wrong on the railway.Otherwise life is an oyster.

I like the 300 tourer but wonder whether its really worth it when you consider I could be saving myself at least £160 gbp which would come to quite a few usd.
To fill a 18 gallon tank with petrol here would cost in the region of £80 so thank your lucky stars and stripes.
I can smell lamb chops.
See ya soon.
Bri

:rotfl: I really dont know where I got "life is an oyster" from.

YIKES....I know nothing of converting pounds to dollars so I went to a conversion chart.....80 pounds is like $145 US money???? :scared1: Ok, I'm sure on this keyboard is the symbol for pounds, but I can't find it.... :p

So £160 is like $290
What would you do????
I bet I know.
So I'm going to go for a Buick unless people tell jokes about them that is.

Far be it for me to tell you how to spend your $$ on your vacation, but WOW....saving $290 would be quite a few dinners or souveniers..... :flower:

Are you planning on doing a lot of driving while in FLA? If not, just get what will get you and family from point A to point B....something all of you and lugguage will fit in ;)

If you are planning to drive around, then you do want something that is comfy, cool and easy on gas and personally, I wouldn't care about looks, as long as it gets me around............just some random thoughts for you to ponder........but it seems like you have things pretty well planned out....so just come and enjoy. Did you say you had been to WDW before? It will be pretty hot, so be prepared for that at least......... :)

and here i was griping over paying $2.40 a gallon last month.
it has come down to 2.22 now.

my brother in hawaii pays $2.65 a gallon and no break in site.
but there, everything is shipped in from the mainland.

ok bri, i figured it out.
you work at 10:30 pm to 6 in the morning.

won't you have fun when you come to america and have the weirdest time change to put up with !!
you work a late shift, which us yanks call the grave yard shift and then you will have the time change to boot.

reverse your sleep time and you will adjust ok when you get here.
july in orlando is very hot and humid. they can have daily showers around 3 ish in the afternoon. it cools things down briefly but then becomes very humid......

the best time to see disney and universal is probably october weather wise.

july can hit in the mid to upper 90's in orlando.
the parks are open from 9 in the morning to midnight during july for magic kingdom and late also for the epcot and mgm.

is this your first trip to orlando?

we can help you if you need it.
i have 15 trips under my belt and the others here have lots of trips in also.

i am paying about $50 a fill up and get close to 415 miles on the tank.

of course, that is not even close to what you are paying.

too bad pam is not here today. she goes crazy over accents.
ocm and ed have accents like bostonian............and pam thought that was great.

of course, pam can't hear you talk but if she could, she would go nuts and tell us about it.
pam lives in the western part of the US. lot of corn fields where she lives

good afternoon all!

Wow you guys were sure chatty this morning! :rotfl: it took me awhile to catch up to you all!

bbear--welcome! i am glad you are with us! Sounds like you are leaving WDW just as i am getting there! we get there on the 17th of july--will miss you by a few days.

mac--my attention is all on you!!!! I hear you are starved for it! :teeth:

mic--it is a beautiful day here--it is 77 and sunny! it is about time--i am soooo sick of rain!

ed--that picture was awsome!!! I am tellin' ya--you are getting me really excited!!

adam--breakfast looked great thanks! when is the t-ball over? will you have a little more free time then?

deena--i am soooo jealous of you--saturday!?!?! wow--you better send one of us a post card and we can post it on the thread so we can all see how much fun you are having and we are still back here with all of our boring jobs!

i have the week off at the pizza place--i accidently on purpose forgot to write down the days i wanted to work so everyone took the days i wanted so i chose not to go in this week.

Now for the car situation......i usually use any of the airport car rentals. We have used dollar, budget, and alamo. we usually go with whatever is the cheapest because i would prefer to spend the money on other things than a car.

well speak of the devil, look who just popped out of the closet....

hey pam, how's it going??

now tell BB that you like accents....

I am trying to get my car rental to pop up--for some reason when i enter in my conf. number it says it is invalid. I am going through budget this time--got a car for $119.00 for a week!i hope--if they didn't screw it up!!! :confused3 i will call them here in a few to see if they have it.

I work from 8:30 pm till 6am.
I'm really loooking forward to the hol, though not the huge flight.
My head is aching and my eyes feel numb with all the browsing and reading I've been doing trying to get prepared for it.
I'm really peeved that the Travel co are putting £206 on top of the car rental,so I'm cancelling it and getting one off Alamo with more luggage space form usrentacar.co.uk

yes its my 1st trip to Orlando and the US for that matter.

Hey BBear.. You better get a good car! It's your darling daughter btw:flower: ! Sarah
