Not much going on around here. Just watching my clock as the time sloooooowly goes by til the 18th!
Going to an all day crop tomorrow so I wont be around any and a friend of mine is bringing her boys over for a swim Sunday.

No, I was listening to the game online............fogeddaboutit....what a thrashing they took......... I'm depressed and the only good thing is that the Yanks lost......but the dumb O's won .... again .....they seem to be the nemesis this season so far...........

The recital was quite cute, it was Dance Across America, so the routines were upbeat and music and stuff that you know.....the little tots are so freakin cute and they are so immersed in looking for their family in the audience... our little gal shook her booty and was quite the little ham on stage. We went back to their house for a bit and visited with them, it was a nice evening.

Hot and humid here........blech............

3:55 this morning................bet you are taking a nap today.

i woke up at 5:50 which is horrible since it is a saturday and no one has to go to work here until 10:30 today.

so i went back to bed on the couch..........two cats kept licking my face so i had to get up..............

maybe i will vaccuum today.

Morning, again.....this time I am up for good. I surfed around here for a bit, maybe an hour and went back to bed at 5:30 and slept til 9......well, til the phone rang...........with which must have been a wrong #, I didn't recognize the name so I wouldn't answer it.........

I have to get grandson's birthday stuff together today to get in the mail, the big day is next Friday....and don't want to be a bad grandma, so I've got to get that all in order this morning and mailed.

mic--don't you hate it when you can't sleep?!?! You are a great g'ma!! I am sure your grandson will like anything you give him because it is from g'ma and g'pa!! and it comes in form of a present!!

mac--are you going to be living in your car again today?? I would tell them to grow a thumb and find their own way to work! but that's just me--i will probably be the sucker when my kids hit that age too and take them places.

deena--how fun an all day crop!! I am not into scrapbooking yet because i have no spare time but i think i will eventually get into it--it sounds like a lot of fun!

ed--a drive-in movie?!?!? how fun! we don't have any of those around here. be careful i here those drive in's are fun ifyaknowwhatimean!!! hate to hear about ed #3!!

ocm--are you working out today? what are your plans for the weekend?

hope everyone has a good day! I haven't decided if i am off to lincoln or not. I have to get a b-day present for my nephew and she wants a life jacket for him but i can't find any in this town that are under 30 lbs. and he is only 21 lbs. She might just end up getting money for him or something else!! anyway, hope you all have a happy safe weekend!!

Birthday present MAILED.....grocery store to get the little packs of Crystal Light to add to bottled water...DONE.....yippee, I got my errands done very quickly and found what I wanted...YIPPEE

I was considering checking out some outlets that are about 25 miles from here, cause they just opened a Yankee Candle outlet store....but I don't feel like going out today, so I might think about it tomorrow...see how I feel...need to look at mapquest to see just where they are located and directions...I know the place, but just not exactly where they built the outlet.
I will get in trouble for sure though if I go..........spend moola and that is not a good thing.........

SO MAC.....turn off that vacumm....I can't hear you with it running

Yes, all the Hallmark stores around here sell Yankee, we don't have a regular store here at our 2 malls, the closest one is about 45 minutes away...so I really want to see what this "outlet" store is all about, if it is worthwhile or just like most outlet stores, not that big a deal.
