okay i hear you all were here and i was not!!! story of my life!!! I always miss all the fun! I did go out tonight after the bad storm was over. This lady from my sorority called and asked me if i wanted to come look at some stuff she was selling on her garage sale. So i went out there and spent a whopper 12 bucks but got lots of stuff. I got this cut little winter coat for aubrey next year: it is black leather with leapord print faux fur on the collar and cuffs for $2.00!! That was my big buy!! I hate to buy clothes that are new for aubrey to wear around the house so i hit the clearance racks and garage sales for her play clothes.

I think i am going to call it a night and get some sleep before i hear little pitter-patter feet coming in my bed in the middle of the night because of thunderstorms. We are suppose to get more later tonight. If we get to much more rain we will be floating down the river! I guess it is a good thing that we live way up on a big hill!!!

Nico is having a friend come over to play today. He is so excited...and very agreeable this morning! I am going to get them MckyD's for lunch..so they are thrilled.

Mic - let me know when you get my check. You should get it by tomorrow.

Mac - are you working this morning? It is supposet to rain here too..but into life, a little rain must fall. I have been spoiled with gorgeous weather all week, so I really cant complain.

Pam - what are your weekend plans?

Adam - I know you are going to be super dad this weekend. Have a great weekend if you dont catch up with us.

Deena - are you going to be in chat today? I was thinking maybe some of us could meet up for chef Mickeys also. And I want to run another idea off to you. I am like Laura, I know that I am going in May..but i am sooo excited about Oct!!!

Deena I was laughing my butt off at well..myself. Rememebr how you said you cry at sad things..I got teary eyed during Stephs plea to stay. Then I laughed and said..God I hope I'm not!!!

I turned to Lee and said, "Jeff is really fighting for her." But you kniow, I would too. Here is someone saying that she doesnt want to be there, and how many other people out there that were turned down that really wanted to be there. I am glad Janu put her torch down and I am soooo glad Steph is still there. If nothing else, she HAS to win immunity!!

To tell the truth, I really don't have any plans for the weekend. I know I'll watch the NASCAR race tomorrow night but the weather looks yucky for both Sat and Sun here. I just took DD14 shopping for a "few" items of clothing last night. We left at 5:30 and I told her that we were NOT going to spend a lot of time on this task. Well, after Target, Bon Ton, The Deb and the record store,(I'm sure I will get a Christmas card from Citibank this year) we finally made it home just as survivor was starting.

I told my daughter that those people on survivor should count their blessings that they are where they are and that they didn't have to go shopping with her! So, I'll just play the weekend by ear.

Anyway, the previews for next week look really good. Looks like Steph is going to try to rally the girls against the guys and it just might work. At one point last night, I thought that Tom was going to give the immunity necklace to Steph. Wouldn't that have been something to talk about?

and what a blech it is...rain here too...I wanted to walk today, which if it doesn't pour rain, I might slide one in if I can....and I want to go out anyway, remember I'm not answering the phone from certain parties calling me this morning, and it will be easier to ignore if I'm not home.......

Survivor was quite interesting to say the least....this is a tough one to call, got some strong players left right now....they better all hold their cards close and watch their backs.

Momma, I'm so sorry, I meant to tell you yesterday that I got your check, and thank you so much..........it slipped my mind to tell you when I posted last night. Oh boy, Nico will be Mr. Big today with a friend coming over, how much fun will that be for him !!!! Hope they have a great time.

Pam, good deal on the bargain hunting, doesn't that do a girl good? Always makes me smile to find a bargain.

Adam, so, you are learning the lesson of how expensive we gals are... but aren't we worth it....????

I know what you mean. I was 14 and shopping once. LOL!!

I have to shop for my DD too, but since she is two and not picky about clothes, I can jsut get whatever.


And yay about Steph. I hope she pulls off the girl thing. Not that ANY of the other girls deserve to stay, BUT at least she she is trying. I really want her to win.

It must be raining all over the country because it is STILL raining here too!!! hmmm........ my weekend plans???? Well i highly doubt that the boys will have their soccer games but aubrey will still have her tumbling. Then i am off to one of my best friends wedding shower. I think after the shower we will head to lincoln. we haven't been there for a few weeks and i have stuff i need or atleast i can always find stuff i think i need.

I need to get my running around in while i can--we have 5 graduations and 2 weddings in like 3 weeks. Then the next week ( memorial day weekend) we are finally going to do our branson trip!


mic--you could always take a walk in the rain! That is how i sent my kids to school this morning--umbrellas and all! I do feel bad when they have to walk in bad weather!

mac--have fun at school today! remember it's friday--no extra paperwork!!!

adam--so glad that you took your dd out! Now you know that your wife isn't hiding any $$ from you but your dd is spending it all! Aubrey is getting pretty demanding on the clothes she wants to wear already and she is only 3!!!


ocm--how fun for nico and yourself!!! a friend to keep him occupied so you can get more things done!!! what are your plans for the weekend?

Pam he goes twice a week, Tues & Thurs 11-11:30. I still need to find a preschool for him next year.
The other girls are lazy and thats why the guys dont care about them. Jen is with Gregg so she has an in. I cant wait for them to get rid of Katie--the doesnt do anything and doesnt even look skinnier--looks like she has been living it up there. Caryn gets on my nerves too.
