No Pam, ed says posting in the first few hours of the day don't count....I tried it and he said NO way........sun has to be up or it doesn't count...he is tough, let's not ask him to ever be the substitute

Pam, I'm very proud of you....and at this point, just new into the diet, I bet you will have more fortitude than you imagine and saying NO to any birthday cake will be very easy.........I think having something you really like is not so bad, better to give in a little than pig out alot.......but just 4 days in, you can do it.... and my guess is you'll not eat any.

morning all! have a few minutes befor a friend and i go for a walk.

mic--man, since when does ed make up the rules??? Thank you for your support--it means so much to me! Last night we went to red lobster for dinner--i didn't touch the rolls!!! Ate salad(took the courtons off) then had salmon. It was pretty good but not what i really wanted--but i didn't cheat!!! It was hard but i know if i can do it there i can do it about anywhere! I tested myself and my willpower was there!

mac--have i told you how nice it is for you to do all those things for other people? I agree with mic--you do have a life--even if it is helping others--makes you a very good person!

ocm--well i haven't taken those pills in a really long time--infact i sent them back because 1. they kinda made me sick(think i told you about that) and 2. I want to do this by myself!!!!! I know i can do it and i will have better success if i do this on my own by making it stay off longer!!!

We may strike out on walk on the towpath today ourselves...it is quite pleasant out here...........

Pam, fantoozle on eating out yesterday, see, I told ya....I think Ed can chime in here too and vouch for the SB....he had great success also....I've done lots of diets in my life, and this one has been the best, the easiest and shown the most results in a reasonable amount of time. As I told you earlier though, I've finally realized that this type of eating must become a way of life for me...I can't go back to my old habits and keep the weight off...granted I might not get back "up there", but this is keeping me maintained and I do eat some of what I want now, when I want it.

Enjoy your afternoons everyone...I'm going to listen to the ballgame and maybe work on my albums some....I'm in the mood now after getting a bunch of pages done yesterday................

Well, no walk...just straight into "what's for dinner"....so.............I'll get after him in the morning and we can go for that walk, less people than on the weekends anyway.

So, guess it is in my hands to keep us front and center today..........ok...here I is............

Its up to the non-Sunday night TV'ers though...momma and I watch Contender at 8, then I watch HBO at 9..................

Just got home from my nephews 3rd b-day party! It was good! He got alot of cute things to play with and some clothes that he just threw aside as he was looking for more toys.

No birthday cake or ice cream for me!!!!! my brother was trying to tempt me by saying "oh yummmmm--this is the best cake and ice cream i have ever had" Didn't work--wasn't even tempted to take a nibble!

okay--i am off to get my house ready for the kids tomorrow and maybe run to the grocery store to get a few things!

YEAH for Pam, she passed the test, passing on birthday cake...you go girl...

Good going Pam We had a fun day of yard work and cleaning around the house. Then a visit to the dreaded in-laws, I thought my mil would be doing better now that she is on Prozac but she is not. She said they just increased it and dh said his dad is taking her to another dr. I watched Desperate Housewives.

today is monday............all day.......the beginning of the work week



spent all of yesterday at the hospital and today off to work.


and tomorrow will work as a 2 day assignment.
seems like my weekend just flew by.

i fell asleep in a chair in the hospital room yesterday afternoon, so tired.
will go back and take the lady to the hospital when i get home from work today. maybe i will wait until after i fix a quick dinner for the fam though.

we need a sub today...................are you hinting not to ask ed for the honors???

Morning Mac I am here!!

I am down to two kids today. Dh took Nico to see the Nationals play the Braves today. They were cute leaving in all their gear. He actaully took Nico to work first then to the game. Nico was so excited!

Today I have to clean the house becusae the people are coming tomorrow to install cable in the other rooms. I spend most of yesterday rearragning the funriture so that i can tell them exactly where to put it.

Good Morning everyone thanks for the B-day wishes for Chris, I spent the weekend taking care of the boys staying out of the house as much as possible lucky for us it was in the 70's Lin caught some sort of stomach bug and was sick all weekend, so we had to postpone Chris Bday party till next Saturday.

Oh dear Ed, so sorry about Mrs. not feeling well, let's hope the week finds her doing much better...but nice you had some time with the boys to have fun and keep them out of mom's hair..hey having a double birthday celebration isn't too bad and I'm sure he is grooving on that idea!!

momma, how exciting for Nico...I was thinking of trying to get some tickets to see the Nationals here at home as a surprise birthday/Fathers Day gift for husband....but a lot of the games have only WAY on the top seats left...but I might go for it anyway...they seem to be drawing the fans...hope they have a great day.

pam keep up the good work today...is your class tonight or tomorrow night? it will be fun to go and say "look at me" I was good all last week..
