I am sooooo tired. Have been busy all day. Had Evan's ARD meeting today. I do like all the teachers and the Asst principal at the ARD. They were all great. Im not sending Evan to the preschool class they are offering him (with speech and OT) because he can only go if he goes all day. I dont want all day anything. He is going to start speech next week and go all next year. Im still putting him in a half day program next year, continuing with the speech and will give him the OT myself (OT is going to give me a paper of things to do) or I can send Evan to a private OT.
Then will put him in Kindergarten 2006-2007 school year. Some of my friends think Im a freak for making sure Evan gets that extra year but I think it really helps the kids to get in that extra year to mature and its certainly not going to hurt him.
Took Connor and Matthew to the dr. Connor got meds for Ear infection and Matthew has a cold virus (big suprise! lol).
Spent over 30 minutes at Wal-mart waiting for my drugs only to find out my ins co is not contracted with them anymore It was nice of my ins co to send out a letter regarding this. So off to Walgreens we go for a 45 minute wait.
That concludes my session of todays follies. Please tune in tomorrow to see what else has irritated me

Poor Deena, you've had a day haven't you..................don't you love drug stores...........and insurance.............that alone is enough to make you pull your hair out........hope the boys are feeling better.....

Hey Deena - I dont think you are crazy. I agree about the extra year. Some kids just need it. By the time Julie is in Kindergarten, she will have been in preschool 4 years. and speech therapy for 4 years. Some kids just need the extra healp. So, I support you.

How frustrating about the insurance!! I am sorry you had to go through all of that.

Morning everyone

I have the worst headache and over all, i feel like crap. So, I dotn know how much i will be around today. I took some drugs and now i am waiting for them to kick in.

DH's yelling at me..telling me not to go to the gym. But I will have to see how i feel in an hour. The idea that I have 10lbs to lose may just be enough that I at least try to go.

Other news..a Utah judge threw out the epherdra banning!!!! It is not officail yet, but it could be back on the shelves soon!!!

ocm,sorry about the headache, they can really ruin a morning.
maybe by working out it will help relieve it. that's what dh and ds do when they have a bad one. dont worry about dh yelling. he will be going to work soon.

deena, it's always good to wait and start a child a year later for school.
it helps give them the edge and mature some. it will all work out for the best for you. always do what is good for the kid and family first.




guess most of the others are still in bed...........not a bad thing, i would do it if i could this morning.

Mac - it is a good thing you remembered that!!! I always drink water, but i think i am going to try hot tea to see if I can get rid of the pressure in my head.

ocm--sorry you have such a headache! One word--DRUGS!! extra strengh advil usually works for mine. Did you get julie into speech therapy??? I thought you weren't going to put her in till next year?? Good for you if you did!!!!

deena--Don't feel bad about not sending your son to kindergarten. I am not going to send aubrey till she is almost 6 because her b-day is on ed's b-day in sept!

mic--well seems like i beat you here today! You must have stayed up and partied after your and ed's team won last night! perhaps you partied together???

morning..............nope Pam, no more celebrating or partying...........Ed went to bed .............. so I went right after saying night to you... I've been up for awhile, just surfing around catching up on the sports news etc. ..........they are making too much of a big deal about the happenings last night.............if you want to ban someone, I think they ought to take a look at that umpire..................he was AWFUL....he is the one shoulda got plunked...........

chilly but sunny here this a.m. and Ed's sunrise makes me ready to start the day....gotta get a bite to eat....then find something silver....

momma, hope your head feels better, I hate getting those headaches like that, and believe me, I can sympathize with you....feel better
