Mac in all fairness, Ed should hve a grace piriod until 8:30am. You know he does drive from the sticks into the city..you never know about traffic and things.

we went to the baseball awards last night and trent got robbed!!! he was by far one of the best 10 yr. olds in his league and didn't get an award! Some other kid did though that one of our friends nicknamed him weedwacker because all he did the whole game was pick grass and play in the dirt!!!

oh well, i guess it just comes to prove that that doesn't mean anything because all it is is the coaches vote and if they don't know the kids names they just vote for kids they may know and not know the talent. Not that trent is sooooo talented but alot of us thought that he should have gotten something!

then i came home and pretty much went to bed....i had such a headache and couldn't keep my eyes open!

Morning friends...............WOWSER...the teacher is tough today...giving out grades before she leaves for her "crowning"...and we will have our "own" crowned Elizabeth...

I got up with great intentions and I'm just now getting moving...as soon as I got up the phone rang, and for those I've shared the saga with when chatting, my DIL has a meeting at the school this morning, so she was calling to fill me in.............just let me say without going into all the details, this grandma has been steaming since Tuesday with this situation at my grandson's school............. I'm hoping to hear back from her after her meeting at the school.

It is still hot as hades here............how is everyone else's weather?

I don't care for Caesar Salad.... I had honey mustard dressing last night, it was very good...........and yes the Outback is good eating, but I do not think it is worth when they make you wait a couple hours for seats. That is why hitting it early on a weeknight works out well for us. DS gets off at 4, so we met him at the restaurant by 4:30....business was picking up when we were leaving.

Need to shower and pick out something pretty in silver today....hmmm...wonder if my necklace will be enough silver?

Pam, been there done that with baseball stuff. After all these years its still hard to swallow how ds was treated when he made his school team...needless to say it was biased and unfair, but we got through it. You know, you know in your own mind what they are capable of and keep that thought, YOU AND HE know he gave it what he had. He is a winner to you! I wouldn't have ever felt like I did if I didn't know that ds had the talent if not more than a lot of kids on his team, that is what stunk about it. He wasn't some slouch that couldn't play. It became the favorites game and for those "seriously" considering a sports scholarship....ok, for those that "got" rewarded some of them are now working at minimun wage jobs and several of them dropped the ball and flunked out of these great schools that picked them up with a FREE ride because of baseball, because they wanted the sports part and not the studying part........not that working just anywhere is bad (heaven's knows I'm not an educated person) ....but it was just so important for them to go to college for their "future"...yeah right...........

but that big dude on the other hand, he still hasn't shown up.
is he on vacation now..........if he is , bad brewings will happen since he didn't come and say good bye.

Are you home, and all crowned, mac? Hope it all went well, must have you have back already.

The story is long about gs mac, plus you are a teacher, wouldn't want to step on your toes..... but it involves his teacher and its just a mess that I hope gets set right for everyone....he is so intelligent, I don't want him to not like school or get lost in the shuffle somehow.

I need to run the vacuum, but it just isn't doing it for me....it is calling my name but not in the way I like to be beckened...

Ok, I made my first ever real OB/gyn check up. The only time I have ever been was when i was pregnant. So, I am going for an annual. Like I am going to do this every year!

Then, I am going to try to get a physical and meet my doc. I called and waiting for him to call me back. I really should go. I havent been to a real doctor since before i got married.

Yes you should!! I got a lot of things tested last week when I went in to my family Dr. and the old wreck is running pretty smooth..............
