LOL....yes, the Dis has been sluggish, but my internet connections were awful...dam kid..........LOL.................

No, he called and said lets go out, cause his Dad is home this evening, plus dear old Dad is going back on daylight work and he just thought it would be nice for the 3 or us to go out for dinner........secretly he loves the Outback, so its all a son-plot..............

hey that is neat that he still wants to eat out with his parents....i am waiting for the day that my kids tell me that i embarrass them i am sure it won't be long now....although i hope to be one of those parents that the kids think aren't bad to shop with, eat with you know just hang out...which i know when they hit the teenage years that all goes out the window...unless they want something lol

My son will pick up the bill, he is generous with that...even though I don't expect him too, he treats when we go out.

Pam, they come back to ya, and he likes to do stuff with his Dad, movies, golfing (goofing around trying to play golf I should add...LOL)...we don't shop much together anymore....but mostly that is because I like to shop solo...

it will break my heart when my kids don't want to spend time with me but i will understand....i just hope when it is all said and done that they will say that they had a good childhood and was raised right!

they will Pam....never thought I'd see the day, but both my boys know they were raised right and respect that now.....they realize we weren't such a bad mom and dad afterall...........

pam, if your kids wanted to hang with you all the time when they are pre and teens, that is not normal.

most kids hang with their peers.

mine have been the exception, guess that is why they are weird.
one doesn't hang with me but the other two do.


i like it when they get mad at me and stay away.............but that only lasts briefly....one of my kids tells me i am his best friend.

Dinner was delicious.........I had prime rib, salad and summer squash...a strawberry daiquari and topped it off with the Chocolate Thunder Down Under.......YUMMMMM I did order 3 spoons and shared

last year my three sons made me go to six flags with them and do all the rollercoasters................for the first time, i said a few bad words.

david bought the pic of the four of us on the wooden coaster......a way to remember my fears and their laughter at me.

once my boys become jr high students they changed some to fit in with the crowd.

if i had to have "the talk" with one of them, they would walk away after i was finished and mutter.........

i told them, as long as i can't hear what you are saying, you are safe for now. that way we both won.
