i did have my nephews bday party to go to today but i am home now.

and mac--yes we did do soarin' and i highly recommend it but a word of advice--go there very early in the day because by 1pm all the fast passes were sold out. we went and got a fastpass at 9:30am and it was to 2:30 already but it was worth seeing....very cool...the kids loved it too!

and the lines were sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo long! we survived though but decided that we probably won't go back again in july. some of the bathrooms were really gross and some were pretty clean..i think it depends on where you are at. the grosses bathroom that i encountered though was the one on the airplane!! aubrey just had to go to the bathroom and i swear those damn men can't aim worth didlely squat!!!

anyway, i think i am headed to lincoln in the morning to fill the cuboards with some yummies. i will tell everyone all about our trip when i get back tomorrow.

Hey, I'm here. Just got home from a DJ gig (wedding). It was at a place called Liberty House and was inside Liberty State Park here in NJ. Had a beautiful view of the NY skyline during the party as well as a perfect view of the Statue of Liberty. Seeing the empty 2 spots in the skyline still sucks. I still remember in 2001, the week before Sept. 11, I did a DJ gig (wedding) that was on a yacht that sailed around Manhattan. I got a picture of me with the twin towers in the background. I went to Disney the next week and they were gone. Anyway. Is anyone still awake?

Adam, sounds like you had a busy evening...I bet you have some "wedding reception" stories you could tell....funny how that brought back those memories for you and I'm sure because you live in that area and were so used to seeing the Towers, it is very sad. I need to come visit you and have you show me around....I love the city and need an experienced tour guide

Pam, you are the late owl too. Believe me, I understand that trip to the grocery store upon returning home. We used to leave the fridge bare before we left and then have to replenish when we got back...bummer. Now I leave stuff for my son to have to eat now, but its mostly stuff he can throw together for dinner....and then McDonald's is always available..

Mac, enjoy church and ss today...

I'm going to look for some breakfast now............

Great suprise pics of the kids Pam You did good holding out til the last minute.
Adam. I bet it was a sad sight to see. I never had the pleasure of seeing the towers in person.
We did have a great time at the Beach yesterday. They are staying in a beachfront house so it was really nice. My 2 played great with their two (also both boys) and another couple had a older girl and the boy the same age as all the other boys and they had a blast. No fighting at all.
Then we got home and I saw Michael's Sr pics had come. So I made the mistake of opening them. I was so mad. Everyone of his pictures look like they are only missing the small numbers at the bottom and the state where he commited the crime. He looks mad and mean in all of them. I told him not to make that face before he had them done. So anyway I told the boy we are having his Sr pics taken over and over again until I'm happy with them

Senior pictures are always a pain. SO, he will be smiling huh? LOL So many people around here, and I'm not saying its not ok, go the route of taking the kids to photographers and spending boo-koo moola on those things...I let the boys have their's done by the school photographer of senior pictures and both are very good..........although like all senior pictures, a couple years down the road and they become laughable MINE would be the one leading that list...... , but of course mine is by now a little long in the tooth... and really, I have the boys out on display, but they hardly look a thing like those pictures anymore, and their photos are not really that long ago...but the memory is there and I enjoy having them to look at.

Boys have left for the movies, so I'm going to get caught up on some shows I taped this week...........see ya

i always said i sure do want to repeat this again........





it was always one kid that screwed up one of the proofs........how can it take 2 hours to only get 3 shots that are halfway presentable of the family?

Isn't it wonderful that all of us can share the joys of mothering son's? and understand exactly what we all are saying...LOL....they can be a handful when younger, but as they mature and get a few years on them, they really appreciate dear ole Mom and once again become the apple's of our eye's....like when they were the little munchkins and thought we were all that and a bag of chips... ......which by the way, I know I am..........

Wow, the boys weren't gone to the movies long enough for me to have my quiet time... but they are back and enjoyed the movie....War of the Worlds...not my cup of movie, so I stayed home. I watched my Rescue Me I had recorded....I'm amazed at the language and words that get by on that show...it sure is a show I enjoy though, it is so irreverant and un-PC....

I was shocked that our family photo we went for at Christmas turned out so well on the first go around....I was just so determined I wanted it done though...even though my husband was the grouser in the whole bunch...blah, blah, blah.......he gets repetitive sometimes..... It was a time where all of us were together...so I wasn't letting the opportunity pass. Wow mac, 1990, that was back in the dark ages.........

it is right now 102 outside and the heat index is about 110 or so they said on the radio.

our power went out before 3, it just came back on.............it almost, well, it seemed like it, got as hot inside as outside....



so mic, you too only got one year of family portrait............

nope, I just asked if Lee got any sympathy cards.... Ed came up with the words to send to Lee............too funny, and glad Lee got a kick out of it......Ed, you should patent that note and send it to Hallmark, maybe we all can get rich............sympathy cards for men whose woman "lose" some inches.............and not through diet.... I say we go for it...............Hallmark should love the idea............
